YAY I’m so glad to see bright, shimmery, bold eyeshadow looks coming back. 😊 So many content creators have been doing boring eyeshadow looks for the last year or so. They just put a bronzer in the crease and mascara and call it a day 😩 My whole reason for watching beauty RU-vid was to get great eyeshadow look ideas, so I’m really glad influencers seem to be getting out of the minimal phase

Hi Risa, can you do a video for the eyeshadow colours for mature skin for us with brown eyes? Also, if you can bring a model who has a tan/ olive skin as some of us have hyperpigmentation/ Melasma and its getting harder using heavy foundation to cover them as we end up looking much much older. thanks❤

Very pretty as always. I bought a Chanel quad last year and the satin shades in it blew me away. They were so flattering, even in the crease. Why don't more brands make satin eyeshadow? I even tried googling it and very few results were actually satin. Maybe an idea for a video?

Thanks for the tutorial, Risa. I really love that platinum palette. I'm with you about the larger palettes. They're cumbersome and hard to store, even if you're not using them for travel. A 9-pan is perfect, still giving us lots of options. Looking forward to your RU-vid store. Please also include your jewelry and hair recs including tools. I have purchased quite a few that you have included on your Info Box and had very good luck with them working out! 💜

Thanks Risa! I've typically used the ColourPop 9 pan palettes (as well as a combination of elf 4 pans) when traveling or for everyday. I'm definitely going to need to look at the small Morphe palettes. As a 65 yo, natural looks are what I wear most, but I always include a tiny bit of shimmer on the center of my eye to open them up. (Every girl should wear a little bling everyday!). I'd love to see more of your take on casual daytime looks using affordable products. I really enjoy the way you combine and blend different colors! ♥️

One of my FAVORITE pink/purple pallets is from Morphe. These pallets are right up my alley. I only care about the formula not the fancy packaging. These seem to be a good formula for a great price. What’s not to like.

Bought Going Platinum, and I LOVE IT! A truely awesome palette for anyone who has gone level 10 blonde with white toner (for the hair), but I imagine this will go well with the more golden tone hair as well. But if not, surely Morphe's very affordable Gold Seeker palette will be perfect. On the day that I purchased, I compared the quality of the Going Platinum with previous palettes like the Chic one, and Morphe has truly stepped up the quality, with a still affordable price point.

I clicked on this fully expecting it to be a colourpop product, which isn’t sold in stores in Canada. So I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was Morphe, which is available in Sephora here (this palette is $20CAD). I really like the colours of the platinum palette too so I will be picking it up for sure! Thanks Risa 😊

What a beautiful look. I have to get a couple of those. I have several morphe products in my daily routine. I have the large bare pallet and use it all the time because it is so easy to do a daytime work look. Just got a lip pencil and I think satin lippie that match and love them as well. You are always beautiful and love your videos and suggestions

I love my Morphe palettes too 🙂I have the Smoke and Shadow (9 - pan - I love the gray in this one), Truth or Bare (18 pan - the first one I bought), Matte Essentials (9 pan) and Matte Essentials (18 pan). Love these! I love the look you created today from those palettes. I will have to investigate those.

Love the silver eyeshadow. I have a diary from 1977 and I read it every once in a while and one day I was having a bad day before high school because I couldn’t find my Revlon silver eyeshadow. Can we all laugh now if that’s the only problem I had now I would be happy. 😂

Like most palettes they’re kind of hit or miss. Sometimes quality varies from palette to palette or shade to shade. I wouldn’t say these are far better than the Colourpop, but better than others of similar price.

Just to note about the collections on RU-vid, they pop up while the video is playing and block the screen on the lower left side. It’s annoying that we can’t opt out of the feature because it distracts from the video, but I get that RU-vid wants to collect data on what is added to our carts and purchased, probably to prioritize adsense for brands interested in advertising.
