Capcom Japan teamed up with Capcom America for the production of the original game(and probably the others), and Capcom Japan originally intended for Morrigan to be a Vampire. When a Capcom America representative said that they all ready had a Vampire and proposed a Succubus, the Japanese representative did not know what that was. When it was explained, the Japanese rep went "Oh yeah let's put one of those in!". Felicia was also intended to be an African warrior woman who would turn into wild Cats, but what they got back from Capcom Japan was a "cute little kitty cat" as the American representative put it.

But seriously, when the hell are we going to get another Darkstalkers and not ANOTHER crossover with just Morrigan in it! I'm happy that Jedah got updated, but Fucking Crapcom still left out Everyone else!
@@danielramsey6141 It's difficult to put a new Darkstalker , they attempted to test their water with a new collection , called Darkstalker Ressurection , which failed in sales. It's not that the devs do not want to , it's that is risky. Personally , I want a new one and I think this new Capcom can work on it , but that do not take away it's risk aspect , so whenever Capcom makes a Darkstalker returns , it needs to be perfect or it would die.

Well I think that's a bit of an over-exaggeration. The only problem with Morrigan in infinite is her appearance and portions. Along with the other characters.

Morrigan will always be one of my favorite characters from the whole Capcom series, also the Darkstalkers one (praying for a new version of this game). Also They need to upgrade her character model, it looked like a recycling version every appearance of her.

Morrigan one of my favorite characters from Dark Stalkers I think if Capcom did a modern take on the game like make the models on par to SF5 or at least not go with models from Infinite it could comeback or if they did another remaster and port it to the switch for the ez cash grab it could make money, if capcom really cared about this game. In my opinion it was more of a reaction to Killer Instinct and MK just so that they had an edgy fighter too when they created the series, but I think if they brought it back with either modern/newer mechanics it could have a huge hype train with it.
Only people that can capture the Darkstalker aesthetic is Arc Sys and Skullgirls team. Capcom turned down the the SG team already and i doubt Arc Sys would be given the chance.

Save Umbra witches are human women, thus remain outside the demon realm, whereas Morrigan, besides being the heir of her family's lineage, is a full fledged demon, a succubus. Even if power would be on the same league, they're two completely different things. So Morrigan can't be a Umbra witch
She deserves her own 3D rpg game. She's stood the test of time and gathered quite the following. Including myself. Its a shame yhe marvel vs capcom series never got any better after part 2.

Her hair doesn't even look green anymore.. it's like pale mint... she's old and raggedy... please update her appearance, Capcom!
@@blockhead10 well,the game is (mostly) fun to play,but it has a lot of flaws,like graphics,general balance and mechanic issues,story mode wasn't awful,but I can't say it was good,etc.

It's Scottish.. I mean, Morrigan was always supposed to have originated from Scotland, but that is just too stereotypical of a voice. She sounds more like a happy go-lucky bar maid than a low speaking seductress. It could have been breathy and magical, they just made her sound like she as going to offer you cheese samples.
