That was the sound of being a kid in the 70s - the exhaust warble when you throttle of a minor. Excellent .

I remember standing in front of my parents house in Brisbane Australia late at night around 1980' talking to a mate and mid sentence stopping and saying " Morry Minor" then the car appeared from behind a hill. My mate just shook my hand. Unmistakable.

Simple motoring. I use mine everyday. Fifty years old this year.... can’t say that about a ‘modern’. I love my Morris Minor!

£4500 back in 1980 for a fully restored Minor is equivalent to around £22000 today according to inflation calculator
