Here's my first ever Morrisons Too Good To Go Surprise Bag! I enjoy saving food waste and seeing what we can do with it. There's always a mystery about the bag you receive as you never know what you're going to get, if it'll be worth it or not! @@Withinabudget My husband loves beets. I think they are ok. To me, they taste like "sweet dirt". Ha! Ha! I do prepare them for him though.I either juice the stems in a homemade V-8 sort of concoction, or give them to our goat. Take good care of yourself and have a lovely day. :-)

Paula, you can also bake the beetroot in the oven while you make something else - it's much cleaner and easier to deal with and comes out just as soft! Hugs from Quebec, Canada 😊

MY WIFE HATES CELERY BUT I LOVE IT. I HAVE IT WITH LOTS OF SALT ON AND SALAD CREAM. WITH ALL THE VEGETABLES YOU GOT YOU CAN MAKE LOTS OF YUMMY SOUPS. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I'm with your wife, I know a lot of people dip it as a snack, but it's just one of those things that I never took to. There were some great ingredients in this bag 👍😊

Although the amount did not come to £10, I think this is a splendid bag. The celery and both types of broccoli looked wonderful. And it's rare I think that you get good quality unprocessed beetroot like that. I love celery. And that is funny because I am such a picky eater.

I agree with you, even without getting the full £10 value, it was a great bag! I've seen so many bad ones from Morrisons, so I was expecting too much, but I was pleasantly surprised!😊

Oh really! I think that the Aldi one's you definitely seem to get a better variety of contents, and more for your money 💰 but I wasn't disappointed as I've used everything other than the celery 🤐😂. Thanks for watching 😊

If you have an instant pot, beetroot is easy to cook. Put on a rack, add a cup of water and cook for about 22 minutes.

A bag full of soup or casserole veggies 🥕🥦 I don’t particularly like celery raw but cooked in a pie etc okay ✅ You can roast beetroot and it’s yummy 🤤 The good to go bags are a game of chance. Nice video

I think other than a little bit of beetroot left, it's all been used up or frozen ready to use 👍 Other than the celery, I did pass that one along 😂 Thank you 🙏

I thought that was a good bag. But Shane it wasn't the full £10. I'm.aute they could have put something else in thete to.make it up to the £10. But I would have been happy with that bag. I like everything in there. Beetroot is really ease to do &bits do.nice when you buy it like that them boil it.

Absolutely 💯 👍 I think from this bag alone I froze two family portions of carrots and swede, and then I made up two broccoli and cauliflower (I brought this cauli) and cheese so there in the freezer too 😀

I personally don't think it's bad for what u paid. We don't get stuff like this in New Zealand and our food is so expensive so this looks amazing to me lol 😂. When I come home will definitely try it. I can see though that getting there and there's nothing is annoying. We spend upwards of $300 a week for 2 of us for food. 😢....great video tho

Morrison’s are not very good at giving the value into these bags I’ve had a couple from them and rarely has it been £10 worth or they have cancelled them when I’m on my way or not bothered to cancel until I’ve got there once received the refund plus a £10 gift card as compensation

I'm glad they gave you a gift card in a way of compensation for your wasted time and travel 👍 It is frustrating to get there and be told sorry someone should have cancelled it. With this being the first morrisons grocery one I've gotten (I have tried their deli bag before) I'd probably try them again but if it's always under the £10 I'd stick to Aldi one's! 😊
