Are all concerts like this these days? Like going to the pet shop, but with some music? Seriously, why does everyone try to touch Moz in some way, I don't think that's what you pay for, when you go to a concert.
I saw Morrissey about 15 years ago in LA. He was on stage for 45 minutes. The 45 minute concert included a 15 minute film about how they butchered animals for food and why you shouldn’t eat meat. The whole experience was Disappointing to say the least.
Even in the modern era, fans run up on stage to touch or hug Morrissey. Once in a lifetime talent. As a 24 year old man, this man is very important to me.
If I was at the show I would give Morrissey a hug too..He seems very huggable and been making beautiful and awesome music forever..I’ll try to hug Morrissey because he is straight up awesome
I was 19 when this album came out. This is one of my absolute favorite songs. I remember the day this came out I bought the Viva H8 cassette and played it in my car all day and night. I drove around aimlessly after classes. Morrissey is such a cool dude. Of course I love the Smiths but M made wonderful music in his solo adventures. Still sounds fantastic!!
i think all that hugging ..and awark canoodling...is crinch worthy...morrisey is somehone who struggle's with eye contact ...never mind hugs....very odd stuff
The security i understand... to an extent... but the hand grabbing deserves the security fo come and rip your hand from his??? Wtf? Oh well, it would still be an amazing honor to touch him.

I totally agree, i can't see anything cute about this at all,it's plain bad manners but i also have to say morrissey has never discouraged it and that baffles me.
I'm of the generation but really I don't know much about Morrissey beyond the Smiths and gay icon status. So, just asking, is whipping off his shirt like this at the end a trademark of his or was this a one-off kind of moment? Either way, bold move for a regular pudgy guy this.
