Dremora tower above men, their swords slaying the silence. Scamps rush about leaping onto backs, gorging on the dead. Churls cast spell after spell sending burning corpses onto the streets below. Claanfear charge into the ranks of the imperials to sing them aside, dead. No-one escapes. Those that don't run, die. This is the last bastion of hope in Tamriel and if it falls... No help is at hand, the waves of Daedra surround the White-Gold Tower and all tremble and despair. But hark, can you here that the marching of feet, the clanging of steel, the murmur of voices and the rumble of wheels. Help, at last. The armies of Tamriel come to defend her last hope. Men, elves and beasts, united in the face of such terror. With the horns of the north the Nords are the first to fight the threat. Rushing into battle with their cries on their lips they raise their hammers and axes to crush the invaders. Their Breton neighbours join the Nords in the battle. With mages clad in steel they have magic and metal as their allies and few can resist the united Lords of High Rock. The Redguards have sent their Yokudan fleet up the Niben and now leap of their ships, curved swords flashing in the early light. The Houses of Morrowind admit that these Daedra should not be worshipped and with stealth, magic and sword, the Houses drive back the armies of Oblivion. With a steady strum of bowstring the Bosmer let fly their many messengers of war. Their message is swift and decisive and much like the natives of Valenwood are silent, but oh so deadly. The Clans of Blackmarsh seldom stray from the swamps save in times of need, and this time may be the most needy of all. With Shadowscales, Warriors and priests alike these allies of the powerful Hist fight with both might and magic. Despite it all the Khajiit, to shall assist Tamriel for without Nirn what shall become of Masser and Secunda. Cats of all shapes and sizes from housecat sized assassins to giant elephant sized tigers. Even the Mane himself shall lend his sword in the battle. The berserkers of Orcsinium are even horrifying to the Daedra and with good reason. With horned armour and spiked maces these children of Malacath do not go down without a fight. The elves of Summerset, to have come to lend their magics in aid of Dawns Beauty and with either fire, frost or lightning they shall suffer at the Altmers hands. Yet still the Daedra survive and are killing without mercy something has to change. And Lo. Something did change atop the hills stand three figures who shall not suffer the demons to pass. Having defeated them before the Hero of Kvatch is sure it can be done again. With a spur of his horse, and Akatosh's spirit behind him, he descends into the fray, sword gleaming. With the Thuum at his lips and his helmet at hand, few can withstand the Dovahkiin. He is a force to behold and in order to protect his homeland where his breath is long winter he shall slay with axe and with words. The last figure runs down the hill to join the fray, his Bonemold armour fastened stout around him. The Nerevarine has brought 6 to 5 and shall continue to fight back the attemps of the Daedra for years to come. On that day the Dragonfires were lit again and the Daedra pushed back through their hellish gates. With the might of the Dunmer, the Nords, the Bretons, the Altmer, the Khajiit, the Argonians, the Orcs, the Redguards, the Bosmer and the Imperials, Oblivion was defeated by a continent united.

Steven Ward Really? It's not THAT hard to remember. It's only 7 or 8 sentences, depending on how you count it. If you do want to remember it, I suggest breaking it down into four parts, two sentences each. Read it aloud, find the natural rhythm in the phrases. If you think that's hard, try memorizing the Dragonic chant in the Skyrim theme. I think it's easier, being phonetic memorization. It is pretty fun to sing along to.

+Andrew Bowers I just imagine the trailer for Elder Scrolls 6 comes out and this mashup plays as familiar places from all of Tamriel go across the screen, and you catch a glimpse of the player at the end, their eyes glowing through some kind of helmet, and the narrator from Skyrim says, "A new hero rises," as the screen fades to black and a large VI shows up, and under it, "Tamriel Rises" or some awesome name like that.
When I hear this song, a specific image comes into my mind: The Neveravine, the Champion of Cyrodrill, and the Dovahkinn fighting together against Dagoth Ur, an army of daedra coming out of Oblivion gates, and an army of dragons, including Alduin.

Just realized something....... each theme relies on its own instrument. Morrowind the nice and supple flute, Oblivion very strong and broad low brass, and finally skyrim with its trumpets playing loud and proud.
Whenever I hear this song, i think of The champion of Cyrodill, Sheogorath and Dragonborn fighting an endless wave of daedra while on the top of the thread of the world, while dragons are coming from afar, with Meruhnes Dagon climbing up the mountain while the Greybeards try to distract him I have a good imagination

Funny because it would work since they connect to each other. Cyrodil is below skyrim and next to Morrowind. Skyrim is next to Morrowind and above cyrodil. And morrowind is next to cyrodil and skyrim. It works
The city is in shambles. The forces of all the evils of Nirn combine. In the tower the Imperial forces wait to die by the hands of Oblivion, The dragons, and ever last Daedric prince. Tamriel is over. In a last ditch effort, the imperials send messages by hawks. "To all the provinces." It reads "Nirn's evil has awoken. We are in dire need of help. If we don't stop this now, we will all perish. If you care about Tamriel, send help." Help did come Suddenly Deadric screams fill the air. The sound of steel clashing, fire burning and arrows raining. The first wave of help came. The Imperials looked out and saw Dunmer, Khajiit, and Bosmer banding together. In the distance, Bosmer archers rain poisoned arrows apon the Deadra. Wave two. The smell of burning, a cold chill, and an electric feeling. The Mages. More Dunmer, Altimer, and the Collage of Winterhold. Seeing this the imperials join the Frey. Waves of Deadra, and dragons get cut down by a barrage of spells. Wave three. Nords, Orcs, and Argonians, join in. The Deadra are losing! But at the last minute, Alduin, Molag Bal, and the rest of the Deadric princes wipe them down. All hope was lost. Suddenly it seems the Deadra quivered with fear of what was to come. The three heros of Nirn! The Dovakiin master of the Thuum. With sword and shield, he calls a dragon to his knees. Next to him, the hero of Kvatch. As doned Sheogorath he wields the Wabbajack. As he mounts the third and last hero appears. Indoril Nerevar. The Nerevarine himself. With is bonemold armour he is unstoppable. All Was Still. The three slash, burn, freeze, and shout. Alone? They would never win. Together? All the evils of Nirn stood no chance. As the last Deadra falls to the floor, dead, all the Oblivion gates close. All of Tamriel was at peace. For now... and forever.
Hellhound _428 Realistically, this could happen not too long after Skyrim, the Nerevarine has Corprus and is immortal, the Hero of Kvatch became a god, and the Dovahkiin, well he probably figures something out.

The perfect theme for an Elder Scrolls TV series... Just think of it, a TV series based on the franchise we all love and hold dear. It would focus on the lore found within the games via the books and and pieces of history players find.... The main quests in the games would not be covered in the TV series, but their expansions would appear. Like an entire arc based on the 'Dawnguard' expansion for Skyrim or the 'Shivering Isles' expansion for Oblivion.... Also, the TV series wouldn't be strictly action and adventure but play on all the other genres the Elder Scrolls games give... Like maybe an episode arc of 'The Lusty Argonian Maid".... Of course, an idea is an idea...

this will be the theme for when BESTHESDA(not zenimax) releases the final game, which takes place in all of tamriel, with the most epic story ever created!

I just imagine Elder Scrolls VI to be set around a new dragonborn years after the events of skyrim. In which the old dragonborn has died and a new dragonborn has been born and matured. The game could be set in Skyrim/Solstheim, Morrowind, Black Marsh, Cyrodiil with places like Whiterun, the white gold tower, etc coming back. Dragons could be present in skyrim, solstheim and borders in morrowind and cyrodiil, with some other large enemy taking place in the rest of morrowind, cyrodiil and black marsh. This would grant the player the ability to shout, as the game has set itself a standard that the player has to have some flashy ability, with all old shouts returning, as well as adding new ones. Characters like Odahviing or Durnehviir could make a comeback as well. The plot would be based around Alduin's return since his soul wasn't absorbed, and the conflicts between dragons that either want to rejoin alduin and be evil (dragon legion perhaps?), and those that want peace and live their own lives, as well as fighting whatever dark force surfaces in morrowind, cyrodiil and black marsh. Also the dark brotherhood could have been destroyed (whether they were destroyed by the dragonborn or over time is obscured) with a new assasin-ish and dark faction taking place (maybe a reborn dark brotherhood?) and paarthurnax would be dead too (whether killed by dragonborn or by other means is obscured). And there could be a "war" questline between the empire and the aldmeri dominion as the empire try to unite against the aldmeri dominion and break their control over the empire. So what do you guys think?

Actually, it might have more dragons than we thought. In fact, it might have more dragons than Skyrim. This is because it will *probably* be set on Akavir, to the east of Tamriel.
I wonder if this was deliberate, but the themes complement each other so well, Morrowind's theme provides the triumphant main melody, Oblivion's theme does the backing track, and Skyrim's theme brings the powerful choir
They are the same theme in different arrangments, it is a thing they did with the franchise. So it is not surprise that if you sync them up they play together well.
Just realized I screwed it up. Oblivion with the broad and strong bass, Morrowind with the sweet and supple flute, and finally skyrim with the large body shaking bass and the strings providing support.
The other awesome thing... each theme is exactly the same note progression, just different timing and feel. That flute is playing almost the exact same notes as those trumpets. It blew my mind when I realized it for the first time!

Most epic thing I've heard in my life. I love how you can pick out all the themes, but they sound as one. Each individual one is awesome, but this is just epic. I could listen to it all day.
