Haha yeah I just wanted to provide some context by showing the prior failed attempt

So right after exiting Odrosal I continue to build speed and work my way over to a high slope nearby. I try to get to a certain height on the slope and then flick off to the side while moving diagonally. This puts you in a bugged falling state where you retain full running speed and do not take fall damage. If done well, you can reach Vemynal about as fast as you would with the levitation route (that route takes some time to set up a mark at Dagoth Ur though). In Vemynal, I just quicksave to get out of bounds as usual and immediately jump. The jump is required because if you perform an out of bounds while grounded, you will stand on an invisible plane until you jump. So I want to jump early so I can start to descend as the door to the next area is a bit lower. In this run I messed up and collided with part of the map but quickly reacted by quicksaving again while moving backwards to get unstuck. In the second room, you can perform a clip through the door which is faster than opening the door normally. It's pretty tricky to do but you just have to walk (not run) diagonally in to the corner and quicksave. If all goes well, it can be cleared as fast as you would be able to with levitate

@@volvulusx5043 is this the same glitched falling state that walking off the walls of the cantons of Vivec gives? The vertical speed feels so slow! Very cool though.

@@PopeGoliath yeah I'd think so. It can be done on many sloped surfaces. Another application can be found in the older version of the All Main Quests, No Major Glitches run (skip to around 40:27) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7QC1oa2vUm4.html Any time you're falling and you can hear your footsteps still, that means you're in that bugged falling state. Also, this is patched out in OpenMW
