what a soft and beautiful voice

Everyone relax. I've played every elder scrolls game, they're all great. Morrowind was incredibly memorable because it was so much different from it's predecessors. I remember feeling like Oblivion was too short but the game play had improved greatly from Morrowind and I grew to love it. Skyrim I played through once so far. It has it's high points, but seems a bit lacking.

A good cover of a classic, Morrowind's theme song has always been one of my favorites.

I feel like translating this seeing as I had to concentrate to read it. When playing Morrowind it was like you had just stepped into a dream or fantasy. Then came Oblivion, with the best storyline of the Elder Scrolls series, and unique gameplay that came at the right time, capturing the attention of many. Now we have Skyrim, a game made for a larger audience, so that more people can enjoy the series, with better graphics and a different atmosphere and landscape.

I like this girls voice better than most of the stuff out there, like that Dragon Born Comes video by malufenix. Because shes not using a special microphone,or any voice editing software,It's just her voice period,and to top it all off it's her own lyrics. I'm not saying the Dragonborn comes video is bad it's just that this video is better.

Wow that is lovely. And the fact that you made up the lyrics as you went, that's also amazing. If I tried that it would be something like "In the stuff of the things, the guy with the ummm, you know, anyway..." Also I can't sing. So yeah, what I'm trying to say is that's amazing. Beautiful. This was really beautiful. Morrowind theme always brings tears to my eyes, when and where were we when Arena came and went, Daggerfall arived with its huge world and cities with their blocky houses, which always got me lost. And finally Morrowind with its stunning visuals and music. I miss the sound of silk strider calling out under the starry sky over Seyda Neen.. all so long ago.

Honestly people only say Skyrim sucks to prove they are an older fan, who probably started playing Morrowind.I did start by playing Skyrim, and while my observations have concluded the Skyrim starters and more ignorant to the series around them, is doesn't mean everyone should bash Skyrim just because they don't like people who call themselves TES fans yet have only played Skyrim. Morrowind seemed like a good game, but it's not perfect.

I dont get it when people saying''He this game sucks or this game isnt like morrowind or like skyrim or daggerfall or what else!'' but evry game is good in its own way! so yeah thats it i dont like to see when skyrim or oblivon or morrowind or daggerfall or redgaurd or arena or any other game from TES.... TES make good games and NOOOOO BORING GAMES FRIEND even if it is your opinion, it isnt a BORING GAME it is a TES GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friend you know that evry single TES game is unique and good on its own way! With morrowind it was just an dream where you walked in it was just an fantasy. than came oblivion! Oblivion has one of the best story line of all TES games and the game is so unique it was just a BANG!!! for that year. and know we have Skyrim! Skyrim is made for a bigger croud! it is a very nice grapghc game and a rewal different athmosphere and landscape! so.. yeah evry game is good!!!

Or perhaps from the mouth of a desperate slave, hoping to be purchased for her voice, rather than for some more sinister purpose. It feels like it belongs in that world. Malukah's work is good, but it's clearly not natural. It doesn't feel like a part of that wonderful world of The Elder Scrolls.

This is beautiful. Simply beautiful. And, in my opinion, better than Malukah and Miracle of Sound's renditions of Elder Scrolls music. Well, perhaps not "better", but certainly more fitting. Gavin (Miracle of Sound) is constantly railing against autotune, and how it's killing music, and it's not "real" music", and to that I say "Bitch, both you and Malukah use editing software and layering. That's not much better". This feels real. This feels like something I could (cont.)

I love how you sing and think that this fit morrowind perfectly - it shows a character of a game, to me at least, fairy taleish, romantic, with sentimental vibre. I was wondering if I could borrow your version of the song for my AMV. I wanted to use Morrowind music theme, but thought that it would be more interesting with a vocal. You will be of course given all credit for lyrics and singing.

As much as I like the effort and talent going into this, the singing doesn't sit too well. With an ambient, sweet piece such as the Morrowind theme, voices need to be "perfect". There's a few bits off here and there and overall it could do with a little de-essing for example. I'd love to process/master your vocal recordings so it fits tightly and sounds "better". Again, don't get me wrong, no one sings perfect but a piece like this with the focus on voice needs to be sweetened up :)

Seadryad... sure you aren't a siren? Possibly half siren? A quarter? A reincarnated siren perhaps? Either way, your voice definitely enough to make a man drown himself in pursuit of its source. (for those of you who don't know, sirens were mermaid-like creatures of greek mythology who sang with such beautiful voices that men would jump overboard and end up drowning as they try to reach the beautiful woman that the voice must surely belong to.)

@saedryad honestly it brought my to tears. I fell in love with The Elder Scrolls games. The storys are unbelievable. I wish they would take Morrowind, keep it EXACTLY the same and just update the graphics to Skyrim's level. I would love it. I LOVE that game. I hope Skyrim is just as good, if not better. Oblivion? It was just a let down. Why would they remove candles from the game? -.-

Been a while since I read the lore of morrowind, but i think its vague enough but still connected I had a zany idea last night too, I figured it out, you could actually sing to the Morrowind theme with nothing but the words Cliff Racer! (Morrowind fans will laugh at that, or be infuriated...could go either way..

I wish they would have not released any TES after the Morrowind. Or at least they could have done them like the Morrowind, with the athmosphere and such. Gosh how I miss those times when I was playing Morrowind in my first time. Such a magic. These new Oblivions and Skyrims can not never reach that level if you ask me.

I feel Elder Scrolls is about the mystery and uncertainty that a hero goes through as he undergoes his transformation from prisoner to savior of the world. I feel Skyrim missed the point of that a little; by mid-range levels you are an undefeatable god. I miss the days of Morrowind, where even after you beat the game the wizard of Tel Fyr can kick your ass into Oblivion.

Wow.. Morrowind is on its own way even better than Skyrim... A hero, resurrected by a godess, hurt in her pride cursed a whole race, turned a god mad and killed him(That's what i think, her Prophecy made Dagoth Ur mad and filled him with power, so even Tribunal couldn't defeat him, so Morrowind needed the Nerevarine) Skyrim is cool, but Morrowind is the epic one♥

There is a lot of potential here. For instance, singing an an actual studio would be nice (to get the sound to stay relatively even. Some of those notes were a bit high on the speakers). Wonderfully done, by the way. I would love to hear this re-done though, so find a friend who knows about recording stuff and have them help you.

@seadryad Sent you the new, tweaked lyrics via Private message, hopefully it'll keep the formatting better than when i posted them here. Only tweaked them a little bit, no major changes, just went over it again in my head, needed suprisingly little work considering i came up with them at 6am after not sleeping all night!

This was amazing, however, (the following is a total personal annoyance, it's nothing personal) the "st" noises and the "s" noises, in addition to the sound of your mouth opening/closing pop out at me. It's probably just me though. Amazzinngg!

You probably get this too much, but I think that was amazing. It was really awesome and your voice is so perfect in it. If only the voice casters for Skyrim found this video, so you could sing for one of the bards in Skyrim.

morrowind is better than oblivion, as to gameplay and weft. oblivion simplify it all: converting a game wrpg in sandbox / action and too easy (damn autolevel). sorry for my English is very poor.

skyrim get boring after killing all the dragon priests,finising the quest lines for all the guilds,geting dragonbone armor and weapons and dadric armor and weapons,and for me being a level 41.

@seadryad I've been working on learning the piano version of this song (Taioo's arrangement. If you haven't seen his stuff, go watch them. Seriously, he's good.) and listening to you inspired me to keep trying to learn it. It's kinda tricky, and on sheet music, which I can't actually read...so it's taking a while.

@sorry3333 and to think the theme song is based on morrowind and oblivion. i really liked the world of morrowind, but i never playe dit much because i cannot get used to the combat and repeatedly get owned^^ but my first elder scrolls game was oblivion so maybe that's why.

Very good vocals. But music should be adapted for lyrics, not the other way around. Giving my "like" for vocals, but the song itself is horrible. Would be better if you sang a-capella. Morrowind rocks.
