Ngl it’s so hard to stay hyped for this upcoming timeline I feel like so much has been mishandled and changed in too many ways. Khaos Reigns really showed me how they’re not moving away from the timeline stuff and there just isn’t any stakes or point anymore 😕
They should have have the universe developed instead of jumping into the multiverse. Alway feel like they trying to focus on past instead of trying anything new

Bi-Han has Sektor, Kuai has Cyrax, Bi-Han should get Hydro as canon and Frost and Kuai should get Smoke and Ruby as canon (and make her the brown female ninja).
So we gonna ignore Kung Lao getting killed in Noob's arcade ending? If those endings are canon, then we know at least one person isn't coming back. Poor Kung Lao, never gets any respect, even in a new timeline he still doesn't get to be champion.
I Love how the Endings and Dialogues are giving new Possibilities to the Franchise’s Future, even though Fans are Split Down to the Middle, one of the Things we can give NRS Credit is that they are Planning Ahead and have a Idea to go forward while relying on the Forgotten Parts of the Franchise’s History giving it a New Direction and Life, although I wish Li Mei and Tanya were Better, especially Tanya.
I'm hoping to see hydro get some spotlight mortal Kombat 2. Not to mention, Onaga is definitely going to end up becoming the main villain there as well.
I had some ideas or thoughts that could happen in the future Sareena with help with Asarah tries to save Bi-Han from the darkness Jade will be founded by Kitana and tries to stop Tanya, who was one who given Mileena Taken diseases and uses her as her puppet after Bi-han becoming Noob saibot, female Sektor becomes new Sub zero as Male Cyrax and Male sektors returns Hanzo slowly become the new warrior and maybe replace Kuai Liang after something happens
I wanted to point out that Madam Bo might actually be in danger. In one arcade ladder ending with Noob Saibot and Sektor, Sektor stated that her father wished to serve the Lin Kuei once more and Bi-Han replied that his first task would be to reign in his (ex?)wife, Madam Bo, so she could be under watch from her daughter and her husband. Also, there is a theory I heard being tossed out that the Cyrax and Sektor that we see in this timeline aren’t the same ones we have seen in previous ones, that they are instead the daughters of the original Cyrax and Sektor and that their well-known names are instead titles like Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Smoke. I’m not sure if this is true but it would explain these new genderbent variants of the two without the awkwardness when imagining Bi-Han and the original Sektor having a thing as a Bi-Han/Sareena shipper. And if Dagon does exist and lead the Red Dragon, where is his twin, Tavin? Are they both still the sons of Argus or have they been reduced to simple mortals like Rain?
MK1 kinda took away from the MK11 story mode, Shang Shung was meant to be defeated even Lui Kang was too. It would have kinda awesome to see Shang Shungs vision play out. But Lui Kang resetting the timeline for them to have both endings happen anyway. Now in Mk1 we gotta deal with time travel and different dimensions because all Mk11 tower endings are cannon but only time will tell if Mk1 tower endings will be cannon and if we get a part 3 story expansion it will be good or bad depending where it goes
This timeline just feels so cheap. The first tournament with Raiden felt rushed. Especially how we get to heat shao khan and Reiko so easily. Noob Saibot getting beat by Tanya and then beating Titan Havik with Kamidogu just felt so cheap. I hate that I wasted my money on that DLC
I think Hotaru,Jade,Harumi,Eeron Black and Skarlet they will be playable in the next dlcs being the last characters with a final story dlc preparing the ground for the next game and I think the villains for the second game they will be: Daegon with the Red and Black Dragon and also Shinnok and Onaga with more secondary characters and Kameos for the second game being playable 🤔😎👍like and bye!
Actually hyped for D'Vorah's possible return. Though i find it incredibly funny that in 11, Shao was pissed she offed Mileena, and now he would celebrate it 😂
I would assume that Jade would be the general of outworld after taking kitana's place, as well as kotal being the commander and goro being as a guard. But what about the chameleon? You know, the male ninja who we last seen in Armageddon. He could be a member of the shirai ryu. We should see him in the next story DLC. Probably a trilogy or something. And sheeva? She might be empress Mileena's guard.
MK1 is the fallen giant. Few weeks after DLC release, nobody cares about the game. Player numbers proves they lost in both story (enough of Marvelesque multiverse dogwater), and gameplay. Never expected to see a Mortal Kombat game being so weak, compared to Street Fighter, Tekken and company. A crazy timeline indeed.
Would've been nice to just keep everything within this timeline and tell the stories within it without all the multiverse nonsense. It's getting old and played out. Let's focus back on the interpersonal dynamics. Like what's going on with the beast onaga, Is smoke still connected to an enenra? What does the war with the Yakuza entail. Where tf is order realm? Is anyone seeking the kami dogous? You know, just exploring more of the new timeline that liu kang created.
I guess I feel different I don't like or agree with all the changes but I've been a mortal Kombat fan since 1992 I don't know what people expect I guess most want the same story recycled over and over and over just because it's a new era don't mean all the lore never happened but that being said I took really hope they get away from this multiverse bullshit
