Met daniel a couple months ago and seen him last weekend along with richard divizio (kano, baraka, and quan chi) at missouri gamecon. Gonna see him and the rest of the cast hopefully at kombat kon in chicago in october. Have the rest of the cast sign my custom mk n64. Awesome and humble guy!
@@bentonrp Yeah, you can find pictures of Kerri wearing the original Sonya outfit online. She did that for the Mortal Kombat stage tour show in 1995 though, (it wasn't in the game).
Wow Elizabeth Malecki was quite the nerd. She's Fatalityzised Daniel Pesina himself in front of the crowd (and he didn't even stood the chance). I like these humble, hard working guys.
Well i think its because of the different decades we live in. Also, her body is strong and wide, so it looks less like the nowadays "canons". But thats just my opinion xD. I think thats why we see her older than she is.
Ho Sung Pak is cool, he was in The Legend of Drunken Master. Liz is cute. Too bad we never saw more of her in other games or even TV. I never have anyway.
American adults in the 90s: Mortal Kombat is too violent and it'll negatively influence our impressionable children. Australians in the 90s : haha Mortal Kombat is cool! It's so realistic looking!
Jean-Claude Van Dam was supposed to play Johnny. But he didnt do it because HIS AGENT advised against it because he may get backlash for supporting a violent game. SMH think about how many sequels he could have been in.
Yo Domidayv! in my city kids was thinking it was something Kim Kap Hwan pulled out asking his wife to make the shotoclone costume and 2 or 3 friend to wear whatever they find in the house that can make thel look like kombatants.
Rumor has it he personally really wanted to and in the end they did something to where hes mentioned or featured in some round about way because he really liked the game concept. JVD one of the greatest of all time.
@@cactusmalone Dude, that's the story. Which is why he was quick to jump on Street Fighter. Look up the history of MK. The game was modeled loosely around Enter The Dragon. Johnny was modeled specifically for JCVD (hence the leg split nut punch). In fact he was named Johnny Cage specifically because of Jean Claudes initials "J.C." Guess they figured people would throw more quarters in the machine if he was the star of the game since he was the hottest action star of the 90s.Turns out people played it SPECIFICALLY to enter controller codes to kill people. Which was key in the creation of the ESRB rating system. Regardless, the developers specifically wanted him in the game and still paid tribute to him by keeping the concept of his signature trademark (the leg split). Also, considering Midway, the company responsible for, of all games, PAC-MAN, I think they could've more than afford him.
It's from a 90's TV series in the UK called 'Gamesmaster'. I used to watch this all the time when I was a kid. Unfortunately this particular series was hosted by Dexter Fletcher, who wasn't so great compared with regular host Dominik Diamond.
man so that is how pesina looks like.. i just downloaded MK1 and at da end i saw Scorpion: Daniel Pesian as well for Sub Zero and Reptile so i searched fast on youtube :)
Man MK 1 was the bomb!!!! Sonya is hot. Hey, what's the difference between the Sega Gensis and the Masterdrive? Is one just the USA version and the other the UK version?
@kaliguy10 the reason wasn't so stupid. They used her in the background of MK2 without paying for it. That's like someone using you as a vid game character without mentioning or paying you
daniel pesina play's almost everybody in the first 2 games... but in mortal kombat 3 he whas scorpion in another game so he couldn't come... or something like that...
+12DAMDO yeah back then when i finshed the game, his name was in all the ninjas en cage... and i was like , damn who is Daniel Pesina????.... with no internet and no way to check those things out it was kind a mistery
Daniel left Midway with some of the original actors due to them not getting any money(I believe) and copyrights. Thats why the ninjas(except Sub-Zero but played by another actor and Sonya Blade but again, different actress) and the others who appeared in the first two games were gone.
@Stefano Pavone uuuuuh like I said. Some of the original actors didnt come back, even Carlos Pesina, who played as Raiden. If Raiden didn't show up in those, then they couldn't find someone or didn't have much money maybe. Obviously Carlos came back later.
@Stefano Pavone i really think NRS can make a game without them. Problem is because they're the most popular characters because of their whole rivalry, they really do well. At least the rivalry is at a end.
I would love to meet Daniel Pesina. If you see him again please tell him A fellow named "Sam" Says You are his favorite actor in his favorite video Game MORTAL KOMBAT
