I was dissapointed finding out what the warrior shrine was as well, but I think youll be able to choose what character you want for your statue - I dont think it would make sense otherwise.

I liked the Street Fighters IV analogy. Who remembers Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II Turbo, and Super Street Fighter II? Basically same move sets with extra playable character for each game.

As much as I would like to admit it I don't think MK1 will get a kameo free mode because even at the first Kombat Kast for MK1 Kenshi was shown without a kameo. They probably just get rid of them to show off the character or skin.

Honestly, I didn't even grind to get the characters I maxed out. I just played online. Helps that Fatal Blows, Fatalities, and Brutalities give you a decent amount of XP.

I hope they give the option to sort the warriors shrine by friends list. I think more people would care about a friend's leaderboard.

the scenes of Mileena and Noob without Kameos in the trailer is just to showcase their new exclusive skins, it's not the 1v1 mode, they do the same in the beginning of every Dlc character trailer to showcase their victory pose

Fujin (Raidens brother) Kai ( Sho Lin Monk like Lui Kang and Kung Lao) Hotaru ( Haviks rival who is the main antagonist of the game) are not in the game through 2 DLCs and haven’t been mentioned in the game

Tiny little comment, I think it’s okay that the Warrior’s Shrine uses the 5 characters from the courtyard stage. Imagine looking back and seeing nothing but Johnny Cage and Kenshi players.

Man did not watch the kombat kast, they said the dragon crystals will be every week, but only one time a week can you get it

What I need is that they put AI to grind in the towers.

Kameo characters need to be playable through multiple dlc packs that makes more sense

MK1 redemption of the century

Once 1vs 1 drops people are gonna realise that it don't have any flavours and it's boring they'll soon realise how much fun the kameo system is

The need to makenit to where every 10 levels we get 100 dragon Krystals. they did thst for a while but after you get passed level 100 i think it stops. But starting when the dlc is out they should get more Krystals every 10 profle levels.

I ASSUMED that the top 5 on the Warrior Shrine leaderboard would have statues of the players’ characters, BUT then I just realized that it wouldn’t work in case players switch characters while trying to improve their rank, maybe?

Free dragon Krystal’s is huge

Mortal Kombat 1992 got me interested in gaming back when i was 5. Which is why this game is such a let down. I feel a mixture of admiration and pity for those of you still playing. How much has this company hurt you that your happy to get features that should have been in the game all along. The possibility of free weekly dragon crystals and only once u complete a task, some games give them just so logging on. Im sure this only came out for 2 reasons. All the complaints and mixed with the fact that casuals have already spent all the real money they would for skins. Combine that with them just now adding towers and 1v1. I quit playing when the $10 fatalities and skins came out. Ive been in an abusive relationship with a person i wont be in one with a game.

Im not gonna lie a 2v2 system would be great but instead of cameos helping what if it was that 2nd player would fight as the cameo in a battle instead like cameo vs cameo

1v1 would be great. Not everyone enjoys the kameo system.

Before mk1 was announced you made a video saying how the fatal blows should have the closeup shot to make it a fair reaction to block this move. And that’s exactly what they did!

To be honest I'm shocked no one has mentioned a " create your own ninja " imagine the possibilities You can create how you look what you wear, your own move set... your own fatalities and brutalities.... if you want a sword a kitana a scycal a dagger a gun ect And it would be possible to include our ninja in expansion 3.... and build the story around your new ninja.... but make it make sense with expansion 2 ...... this would be awesome what you think people ....

Mortal kombat 1 needs more basic attacks and special moves.

Well the Warrior Shrine wasn’t what I wanted, but they put the previous season skins in the Towers of Time, so I’m happy!!!

Also, as a huge DC fan I love the Batgirl and Black Canary statues behind you, as they both look as sexy as they do normally in the comics and everything else so, not sure where you got them at but, if you remember and want to let me know I may have to try to save up and get them for myself at some point in my life

Two players versus a cpu would be an interesting idea. Maybe being able to swap out characters, maybe every other round?

a 1v1 mode would require new animations for forward throws and fatal blows though. As much as I would like it too i just so this viable considering those two factors.

We didn't get out hopes up regarding the Warrior Shrine, Neathereal disappointed. To have it sitting there for a year like it was under construction, deep works in progress and for it to come out looking like some original Mortal Kombat on super Nintendo leadwrboard is pitiful Like that's something some jobber named Gary could have knocked out over the weekend, not spent over a year in development. They need to add stage fatalities, more kameos, and more brutalities

One v One game mode isn't going to be in the game, the reason why people think it may come is due to the ending animation for the new skins which is directly taken from character trails in the invasion mode, as you don't get a kameo when you are doing the trial and when you finish it just has the character that you use in the trial.

the reason mileena and saibot are victory posing without any kameo is maybe because they just wanted to show the skins they get

If 1v1 is the case , then Sub-Zero needs 2 new launchers that lead to a combo. He's too boring to play as he is right now.

Yeah would be nice if towers had the coop towers back. Even at launch mk1 did have a tag team mode that got broken into by modders. Guess I got my hopes up

What would really revolutionize the game is developing the cast to the point Kameo are not needed, than adding a game mode with no kameos

In invasions mode if you do a mission that doesn’t require a kameo, and if you succeed the character still does a victory pose by themselves so who knows if we get the 1Vs1 mode. I hope so,

I would love a 1 V 1 mode in mortal Kombat 1 but I don't believe it's happening, not for a second. It is just too good to be true. I don't mind the Kameos so much really but I would love an option where you can play without them. Let's be honest that Warrior shrine ended up being so disappointing. They could have done so much with it. Imagine the Warrior shrine became a way to play some of the classic Mortal Kombat titles. I bet everyone has a better idea than the one that we ended up with. Happy about the extra brutalities, but I have so many I am not able to unlock. I wish we could buy them all. Also TUD, you forgot to mention the 4 new stages and the 5 variants that will be added.

I’m excited for the expansion and I would love a 1 vs 1 Mode without the kameos but I want Tag Team to return cause I loved the Tag ladders and maybe bring back battle damage back to show how badly your character got hurt during the fight it would be awesome can’t wait also when is the update supposed to come out just wondering

I doubt there will be a 1v1 mode. The breakers require a kameo, the fatal blow animations also require a kameo.

That 1v1 mode will single handily bring me back I actually hate the cameo system that’s why I stopped playing.

As far as the Warrior shrine is concerned, what if you don't have a main? What if you go back and forth between 2 or 3 characters? The only other option, and it should be an option, is to let the player choose their statue.
