I love how ambient this whole reveal is. Considering how these characters are portrayed in their respective universes (specifically Omni Man and Homelander)
If Peacemaker doesn't have a brutality where his opponent is reduced to a puddle of blood by a sonic boom, that is a missed opportunity. Anyone remember when he basically liquefied the crazy girl after him? Homelander will probably be more ranged, with his lasers and sonic yell, while Omni-Man will probably have lots of melee/close ranged attacks and combos. Also, Omni-Man MUST have a line where he says "Think!" To the opponent, maybe after he wins a round. Only complaint is Ermac doesn't look like Ermac, he needs a mask, or bandages like in MKX.

@@cyvader101 MK1's dialogue intro format is very different from MKX and MK11's format. Look up mk11 and mkx intro dialogues and compare them with MK1's.
Literally, Homelander and Omni Man are my new favorite super villains! Love how powerful and terrifying both villains are and definitely cannot wait to play this 😅 as well as John Cena 🙌
@@TVFILTHYFRANKV5Now that you mention it, I don't think we've had a single intro interaction with Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. Every game with intro interactions, either Quan Chi or Shang Tsung weren't in it. Kinda weird how this will be the first time we see intro dialogues between them after Netherrelm having done them for over 8 years
Everyone's hyped for Homelander and Omniman but Takeda stepping in at the last second is what got me. They managed to capture each art style really convincingly.
Except you won't really see any of them interact with ANYONE, I've played the stress, there's ZERO dialogue for any fighters to say before fights like mk11. Which blows. Lost opportunity but actually makes sense to save them money to not hire any of those guys to do voice work.
@@jayspix Ah yes, the stress test where they INTENTIONALY didnt add too much VO work so they wouldnt have to make another contract and pay more and are still workshopping what they want people to say;.
I love how their postures kinda represent how heroes align themselves to face evil but the music is literally telling you "there are no heroes here, only death" and the PIÈCE DE RÉSISTANCE is Homelander as he appears not as a humble hero but as a "god"

Idk what you mean we just got mortal kombat as a new series, it isn't like it has 12 games 3/4 movies, animated movies crossovers, cosplayers, arcade games. 😉
@apeasant8550 most likely, most other games (especially recent ones) have many more dlcs that come in after the game comes out. Mk11 was getting new dlc characters for a long while
I'm disappointed that Ermac isn't part of the main roster, but I'm glad he isn't completely excluded from the game. He's so dark and evil and he's an extremely fun character to play. Love this new design
Yeah atleast Ermac made it to the game this time. He's no favorite of mine but I'm glad he's back, even if he's not for the main roster, it will probably only be affected for the storyline most likely.
Ermac isn't actually evil, he is just controled by Shao Kahn's magic, but in Mortal Kombat Deception, Kenshi freed him from Shao Kahn and Ermac started acting on his own will, and then, he became a good guy and helped defeat Onaga.
Hey, better than Rain who hasn't been on the main roster at all since MK9. Even worse so for Smoke, who hasn't even been on a roster since MK9. (You could count cyber Smoke, but I don't)
John Cena’s reprisal would be the higher priority for me. If he gets his own individual gameplay trailer, they better end it with him giving Dye-beard more names of people he could put in jail, or maybe even be guest fighters in MK1 or any future games.

There's literally ZERO dialogue or interactions before any fights. So you won't be hearing anything. Hence why they never needed any of them to voice those characters. Money saved but lost opportunity.
Homelander and Omniman as DLC characters is absolutely amazing, they could not have come up with better options. Gonna be awesome to see them both have no limits, really hyped to play now.

@@troymcclure681 Homelander created in a lab for marketing Vought. Omniman an alien from another planet that came to earth to conquer it. You can be frustrated that two superheroes are DLC characters, but I love it. I myself could not have imagined a DLC character I would want more.
I'm most excited for Takeda! He was basically Hanzo Hashashi/Scorpion's adopted son in the last timeline. I'd be really interested to know what kind of relationship they'd share in this new timeline!

Well, Takeda should have some rather unique interactions, to say the least. I think a lot of people wanted him in the last game and were disappointed he only appeared as cameos and passing mentions.
@@LAJIRAFA66_ALT Yeah I'm confident both him and Peacemaker are gonna be voiced by their respective actors, considering they pretty much replicated their faces. They did the same with Rambo and Robocop.
The amount of excitement that's pouring through me is astounding I'm maining both homelander and Omni man this is also the first time officially that they meet in the same universe I can't wait to see their interaction with each other I'm honestly really pumped for both this and for season 2 of invincible and season 4 of the boys
