@@smolltaco5667No, there are many characters that will give him a run for his money and straight up kill him in his own verse. He's only as strong as the lore mentions. Which means anyone that isn't Lui Kang, Geras, and Shang Tsung are getting blitzed.
Small detail that’s worth pointing out: even though you can instantly dodge projectiles and normals in Vitrumite Stance, Omni-Man takes a small bit of unblockable damage every time he dodges. So be careful not to kill yourself with the dodge. I noticed it at 7:43
From what little I know about Omni-Man his MK1 appearance captures him almost perfectly. He feels strong, has some hard hitting attacks - but he is not unstoppable, he is not unbeatable. As seen in the animated series: although he kills the Guardians quickly he sustains some injuries and is somewhat exhausted after the fight. I really think Netherrealm nailed him. Eager to see Homelander and Peacemaker.
Homelander is gonna be awesome dude.. they way they implemented stuff from the show and comics has me so excited to see what brutal stuff they add for homelanders kit
His meter burn stance can be hit with lows or flying kicks or things like that. Oh, and if you do the superman punch when they jump, he actually flies up and hits them.
Also, enhancing his stance makes it faster. Ita 16 frames on start up by default but spending a bar will reduce it to 7 frames on start up. So u can do combos like standing 1, 2 then cancel into enhanced Vultrimite stance into his 4 option which is the punch that launches then u can do any two hit string you want and then cancel into enhanced stance again and quuckly press his first option which is the mid "grab". The rest you can just expirament
Maybe it's too early to say, but his damage while not bad, isn't amazing either. Which seemed at first, but then I started to worry that this might eventually happen to every character, where they all get ridiculous damage scaling and do very little damage. I'm all for balance, but I'm not sure if just nerfing damage is the way to go.
I can get 499 damage with darrius and 3 meters. that's the biggest I could find but he can easily get 350 meterless combos consistently and with kameo he can get anywhere from 380 to 450 damage (especially with darrius).
In what world are you living in to say 33% damage with no bar is too little? You're not supposed to kill a char with 2 combos. That's why NRS is nerfing damage. Baraka could get almost 50% with no bar only assist.which meant if he landed 1 hit twice in a round, u were basically dead. I don't think any combos should be over 35%. The people who play chars that dish out a lot of damage are the only ones complaining.
That overhead from the stance is godly. Several people used it to chip me out because its unpunishable. People are starting to spam that move and its nothing we can do about it. Because right after run away and go right back into the stance. They see u trying to jump hit him out the stance a mile away and punish u again. He gets a full combo off that overhead as well. IT SHOULD NOT BE SAFE ON BLOCK. Especially since they can easily get 38% if it hits.
Stance can be dealt with pretty easily. The overhead can be upblocked, and the rest of his stance moves are punishable. The teleport can be punished with good reactions (and I mean an actual punish where he can’t do any actions).

There are a few important things worth mentioning about Omni-Man, his stance is a projectile parry but you are not immune to low attacks or some special moves that aren't projectiles. The overhead is technically safe on block but you can easily upblock it for a full punish since it counts as an overhead and removes the pushback. The last thing, and this is a cool one I learned from the channel Shenles, F3 hits twice at close range but it can be safe if you space the aftershock hitbox. Currently I don't think Omni-Man is broken and he has some moves that scales his damage but he outright zeros in on distance and his punish game is very good.
I think OP has categoric measures. He’s good yes, but OP? Idk. Maybe in the right hands, but as someone who just picks the game up and goes into a match without physically taking an hour to 2 to understand his abilities and what does what, he’s not OP, I made that mistake of just yoloing it into a match and got demolished by another Omni who clearly knew what he was doing lol
well .. i would say he is a A tier ... but not S by any means ... which is really good ... he is nice balanced ... not OP not weak either ...he has nice dmg no or one bar but he doesnt gain that much from 3 bars as some other characters ... so u can spear it for breaker or just playing with anyone with ex stance
@@marekbabik2791 the only trouble of ran into so far, taking mind, I’ve only played about six matches in total, but smoke gave me a little bit of trouble. I won’t lie.
@bleezii Smoke is a bit hard to play against at first ...but when u get familiar with him ... he is not gonna give u trouble till high ranks ... because lower ranks still thinks only thing they have to do is teleport, bomb or that overhead-low and kick from there side ... which everything is pretty unsafe ..true problems comes when people know hot to use dash cancels and invisibility..... and I find Omniman somewhat alike . Easy to pick but hard to master ... so lower ranks are gonna be really easy to read and punish .

Just so you realize EX stance can nottt be grabbed. I never tested it and then it happened in game and I was so stunned that I just stopped reacting haha but then after a test it is definitely the case, as of now I don’t know of a way to stop it once it’s fully activated
low or jump in ... easy .. ex stance should used as a counter ... like wake up stance dodge the first attack and then grab for example ... but if u do it too obvious ...people will just hit u with low .
also, meter burning viltrumite stance gives it quicker set-up, so it lets you end a combo with better damage if you are willing to spend a bar for speed
lol ... enyone who played him already knows that he isnt OP ...A tier at best .... a loot of unsafe staff ... people just doesnt know his move set ... once everyone learn ... he will blend in just fine .
Absolutely loving Omni Man in MK1, so much fun. But although unrelated, I'm hoping we get Erron Black and Nightwolf as either fighters or kameos in a future Kombat Pack, since they can kill you if you fail a Test Your Might.
yall need to look harder 56pct atleast and b4 u ask xombat and ninja killa and bog flounda..his dmg isnt crazy alone but with kamoes atleast 55 to 56pct so far is attainable..ppl just dont lab and always wait till they see someone else do something 🤦♂️
I was waiting for this upload!!! I love Omni-man!! He’s so fun, flashy, can’t be zoned, and his ultra instinct dodge is just beastly!!! Plus, everything he does down to the fatalities and brutalities is a reference to Invincible in one way or another!! He’s just perfect!!!
He looks balanced enought. Omni-Human being definitely both feels and looks unique to play as. He is far from the best DLC from Nrs, but oh boy, when taking the fun factor consideration, he is cooler than every single DLC from mk11.
Honorable death is a reference to him killing donald by squeezing his spine before he says "its been an honor, sir" and blowing himself up. And thunder clap is from his fight with cecil i think

What I’ll say is that Omni Man is fun to play as *IF* you wanna just plow through your opponent like a god, because Omni Man is a character who, because of his strength doesn’t really do actual hand to hand combat, and so you’re not gonna get to string together a bunch of crazy combos and jump around like a ninja like you would with Liu Kang or Scorpion, which to an extent is a bit of a bummer which is why while I like playing as him I don’t *LOVE* it either, so while he’s not like one of my main go to characters now I still think he’s pretty good
It's a good thing he doesn't feel busted. NRS games have a knack for making DLC characters so strong that it feels like a pay-to-win game when they release the character pack. We'll see in a few weeks if this statement holds up.

It has one usable low outside of pokes and it is super punishable while being very difficult character to play, he is as far from OP as he can get. I really hope Ermac is going to be better.
i love how nrs charges you 70-100 dollars and then still asks you to pay for skins, if the game was free to play this would make perfect sense but charging you for skins and fatalities (which used to be easily unlocked by playing thee game in previous titles) is straight up ridiculous
I've fought eight people that have played as omni man in kompetitive and beat every single one of them. He's strong but he's also easy to counter. Especially if you know how to play him.
Well no shit, when we've been playing the character for an hour then get matched up against people sweating with their day 1 mains it's a bit tuff. Wait a week and some serious dirt will be found for you to struggle against.
Honestly just play kenshi when facing Omni-man, it seems to work everytime for me, and if it helps just block a lot and when there’s and opening try and uppercut.
I like him a lot. I hate zoners, so I do appreciate what he can do LOL. However, there is a friend that I play with practically every day who wants to main him, and I hate mirror matches, so I will not be making him my true main. I'll stick with Smoke until Taceda comes out or if they make Ermac not a zoner.
In his victory pose he flies out of space and returns holding a mountain size meteor with one hand, but it takes him two rounds to defeat a human opponent, I assume this means he is no overpowered.
He should do one real fight with the characters that he analyzes at the end. By him doing that, he will show us how to use the moves in real situations.
If Omni Man remains overpowered, I honestly don't care. It makes sense. And sure the pros will whine about it as they probably should, but from a casual perspective I care about who's fun. I want everyone strong for max chaos
You should make a video discussing how difficult the character challenges are, like “the hardest character challenges NetherRelm has ever made” cause honestly some of these combos wack.
I feel like he should be able to do a jump punch after a raw air dash, raw air dash is ass and easily punished without being able to use it as a jump in like nitara.

Omniman is brain dead simple to learn, I casually came up with 40% combos in minutes. His forward 3 hits low then mid btw. Most of his moveset can be special cancelled. Hit confirm, 50/50s, no opponent can jump. I like him.
You're definitely tripping I've been playing him non stop and he's definitely mid he has no 50/50's so idk what your talking about and tbh everytime I play against omni man and I play any other character I clap omni man I think he's honestly pretty weak dissatisfied tbh
I don’t feel like he’s overpower. Almost feel like it’s extremely predictable about what people are going to do with him but then again he’s still new.
