She finally got the ending she deserves. Her rule, her people, and finally… her family. She has it all.

I'm actually super stoked they made mileena that way. She's not some brainless friggin mass murdering psychopath.

That's the Mileena's fate we all wanted. Long live the Queen.

MK1 has perfect redemption arcs for Mileena, Reptile and Baraka. From basically jobbers into important figures in Outworld.

This time, Mileena's ending touched me. Because behind all this, it turns out she has feelings of empathy & a kind heart full of compassion. Even able to feel how the Tarkatans feel & elevate them all, also giving them a decent life.

I’m so happy she got this story, it shows a different side of her, one that’s just not a bloodthirsty warrior, but one who’s a sister, daughter and empress who openly and proudly helps a colony in need. She fought for a good cause and that makes her the ultimate mortal kombat champion imo.

Lord Liu Kang really showed Mileena such compassion in this new timeline...love to see it. Even Tanya isn't a scumbag whispering in her ear anymore but her actual genuine best friend/roommate.

One thing I've noticed is that masks seem to be a fashion, or at least among the upper class. Notice that qutie a few people in the Throne room - even Tanya - are wearing them. Perhaps to protect themselves from Tarkat?

After getting shafted in MKX or the original timeline, at least she gets a really great ending as she should

I must admit, if there's villain to hero fighters, mileena has the greatest redemption and the greatest improvement among all.

Mileena is finally an empress. She looks down in people with compassion and treats Kitana like a sister even back in time Kitana mistreats her, She finally got her family, her Tanya and her sister. They finally made Mileena better.

About time Mileena got a good ending.

So Mileena is a Queen, she's bisexual, afflicted with a deadly illness that she's blamed for getting and that causes sufferers to be banished from polite society, and she chooses to move forwards by revealing her affliction and taking steps to destigmatize so that it's no longer seen as a punishment...is she the Mortal Kombat version of Freddie Mercury?

Finally the life and ending mileena deserved she was never inherently evil she was a clone had kitana embraced her accepted her and slowly pulled her away from Shao Khan she would have been good in other era's as well this timeline proves it! Lui Kang gave her the chance she deserved to prove she was an innocent drove to evil by those she wanted to trust.

FINALLY, ANOTHER HAPPY ENDING SHE DESERVES

Kitana: I am the empress Outworld deserves. Mileena: But I am the one it needs. In a previous timeline this statement would have been seen as arrogant, but in this timeline it rings true. Through honesty and empathy Mileena has earned her the respect of Outworld’s citizens and has proven herself worthy to lead.

I love the direction they gave for new era Mileena. She now truly deserves to rule in the throne. In original era, after Kitana’s death in Deadly Alliance, Mileena pretends to be Kitana in Deception to lead Kitana’s army. In reboot era (Raiden’s vision), Mileena had matured during the aftermath but she not fit to rule Outworld without Shao Kahn to aid her as she is betrayed by all. In new era (Liu Kang’s restart era), she is now more of a person, and eventually is able to control her disease and uses it to her advantage during a big struggle especially if anyone is going to her friends and family. The short interaction between her and Johnny Cage when admiring his drone was something I would never expect the two to converse each other. And I am loving the idea of her fighting against Dark Sindel especially since last era Mileena has not interacted with Sindel at all.

Gosh, this ending and Baraka's were so satisfying. Though I enjoyed how post-9 Mileena played (especially in 10), I never thought much of her or Baraka as characters, since their personalities always seemed a bit one-note. Baraka had his arm blades, and Mileena was ironic fanservice (especially with the way she was portrayed in some magazine advertisements for earlier games, many years ago). I was SUPER happy with what 12 / "1" did with both of their stories.

Finally a good ending for Mileena. She deserves it.

I glad with this change to Mileena. I wasn't a big fan of hers in the previous game but this one is more well rounded than the previous one. I'm glad for her happy ending, now just get the girl a boyfriend and a potential king.

Without Shang Tsung around, how is Mileena getting her treatments that keep the Tarkat symptoms at bay? Either there's a huge stockpile of the stuff or somehow she managed to hire another alchemist who can concoct it. And she obviously would forbid forced harvesting of Tarkatan bone marrow like what Shang Tsung did to Baraka.

Even in the past, Mileena was an excellent ruler, no troubles and such but she has no backbone because as soon as her father asks her to step down, she gave up her throne immediately. This timeline, however, is different. She is determined to become a good empress who will not give up the throne. I do wish Kotal is not around in this timeline, he is entitled and unfair.

For anyone complaining about Mileena and Tanya, Mileena has been rather open about her bisexuality for the longest time out of any of the MK characters to be honest so I really don’t get what the big deal is.

I remember this one dream I had when in an after Mileena became empress after Sindel’s death, Mileena made me General of her Army and we grew so close to eachother when we were training and spent so much time together, we became a romantic couple and eventually got married. Then sometime after that, we found a cure for her condition and it was removed from her permanently. And we had two children together (1 boy and 1 girl), then 30 years later we fought against an invasion we we’re called to for Earthrealm to aid Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Raiden, Scorpion, Smoke, Geras, Kenshi, and Johnny Cage. The battle was so gruesome and it turns out Ex-General Shao was leading the invasion, I fought against him until he embedded me on a tree, but before Shao could finish me, Mileena kills Shao by decapitating him with my sword that I dropped when Shao grabbed my by my neck and before he impaled me on tree. And Mileena runs to my side and cuts the tree and I was free but it was too late as I was already dying from my injuries and Mileena and the others (including our children, Jerrod and the Heroes of Earthrealm) came to me, Jerrod and the children came by my side and I appointed my son as the new General of the army which Mileena approved and everyone else. My daughter tells me I can’t go and I tell them “I’m sorry my daughter and my son it is already too late. I love you all.” And I turn to Mileena and I say “And I love you Mileena.” And Mileena says “I love you too Sean.” And then I said “So, this is what it feels like.” Mileena then starts crying and shedding tears as well as our son and daughter as I died from my wounds and Mileena caresses my head saying my name and Jerrod then takes my soul and I was then safe along with Sindel. I was then buried in a casket and a statue was made to honor me in Outworld. It was the best dream ever.

The game developers made Mileena lesbian for the woke Mob and the LGBTQ community. I believe because of this, all lesbians should play Mortal Kombat 1 and only play as Mileena and Tanya. Their is nothing attractiving about women that has no interest in men. Turning Mileena and Tanya Lesbians was not meant for male players. It was meant for the Lesbians.
