Lowkey I wouldn’t mind a Mortal Kombat 101 series where F0xy goes through all of the fundamentals of playing MK. Last MK actually played heavy was Deception when I was younger so it’s been awhile. 👀

I just bought the game recently and love it. I've been learning how to play characters ind depth and scorpion was one I wanted to learn and I was doing good but I came to this video to figure out the f32 combo and I appreciate it I couldn't figure out how to know them in the air to extend my combo
One normal he forgot to mention was down 4. It’s a low kick that has medium range that’s safe on block and gives push back on block. I personally use it to counter high strings and random grabs my opponent my try on me it’s pretty effective and has decent recovery.

At a competitive level, how big a deal is Scorpion's lack of mixup potential in his base kit? Does he absolutely need to use a Kameo like Scorpion for the extra Overhead? I'm having such a hard time opening people up once people figure out they can just block low and respond to jump in's or the overhead ender on the 1 2 2 string. He's been easy to pick up and play, but not sure how good he his?

30%+ combos without meter- only cameos? That’s wild- that’s means you can save his meter for breaker and trying to stay safe. Also like you were saying to chip out with his fire and blade spin

As a religious scorpion main on every game, why does scorpion feel so neutered in this game? Every thing about him feels toned down / nerfed compared to his past iterations. I dont have the game yet, but these are just my first impressions. Smoke is looking like a better pick this time around.
It felt like that at first but maybe he had sauce. He’s got an auto shimmy. His port can be 100%safe and can lead into a combo. Yes, he’s gonna be heavily reliant on grabs as opposed to mix ups. At least sub got nerfed

Honestly everything look good in MK1 so far. But I'm just not interested in the kameo system. I don't like assist games. But I bought the game because I'm a life time fan. It looks real good and in the hope later in the life cycle of this game. There will be a one v one system. Thats my honest opinion. This game has potential. I'm not against the Kameo system to each there own. But give players a choice between one v ones and kameo. I think it will be a great marketing tactic. To implement a one v one system after DLCs have realased. Ones the kameo system becomes stail. We both know how this is going to go. The strongest, OP, broken whatever kameo will be found and thats all you'll see. It happens in every assist. MK will be no different. By that time I hope they implement a one v one system and bring new life to the game. That's what going to extend MK life cycle a year or two down the road. My honest opinion. This game will be good. It has the potential to be great. Well see. Sorry Foxy I'm old school. Been playing since 1992. I understand trying new thing bring new ideas to an older game. But u also keep the foundation and the fundamentals of the game. What made it popular in the first place and whats kept it around for 30 year and more. MK, Street Fighter Tekken and so on. They've lasted this long because of the Fundamentals and the foundation the game was made on. Its good to bring new ideas to a game but never give up your foundation and fundamentals either.
