@MK_UltraRy I’m a huge fan of the channel and no, Cyrax definitely isn’t the only cameo that can lock you down and endlessly frame trap you, my immediate example that I am using with Homelander as he’s my main is Goro because, his up punch is at least +38 on block maybe +40 if you space it correctly which is insane! Normally a lot of people would complain over that but, I don’t care, as I’ve been following your back to basics series and since Homelander doesn’t really have any plus frames to really frame trap his opponent other than plus 1 jab which is a high and can he ducked, he definitely needs an mid assist that is plus on block to fill that role and I will say, Goro does that perfectly.
I think there's a happy medium with Cyrax that hasn't been discovered yet. He shouldn't be so nerfed that nobody uses him, But the whole string/cyrax/string/cyrax/string thing needs to go. It's not good for the game to have someone blocking for like a minute straight. Like you said, it's boring AF. Honestly, this is unorthodox but I think the answer is make it cost 3/4 of a bar.. OR give it a cool down period so that you can't use it back to back, i.e. Ice Klone, Eagley, etc. ALSO, If someone flawless blocks, it should not only stop meter gain from the opponent, but it should build their own meter. It's BS that I need to risk getting hit to FB and my only reward is that I don't get chipped out. This might even prevent some people from spamming the move if youre flawless blocking it and building meter every time.
I understand why people want it changed. It’s boring but I just don’t think we should nerf stuff based off of something being boring. Are we going to make it so other kameo can’t use a safe move 2 times in a row. Honestly the animation is why everyone hates it lol. I get both sides of the argument.
