This is kinda giving me similar vibes to the PS3/Xbox 360 era where games that were initially made for those consoles were then ported to weaker hardware, like Tekken 6 being ported to the PSP, Sonic Unleashed on the Wii and PS2, or Street Fighter X Tekken on the PS Vita It feels like it shouldn't exist, but yet it does. It's kinda impressive in a way.

En serio no puedo creer que este juego saliera también para el Switch, osea, era obvio que ni en PEDO iba a alcanzar la calidad gráfica que las demas versiones, pero para lo que puede aguantar la consola, se ve bastante bien, y lo mas importante es que el juego corra bien sin muchos bajones. Aunque es innegable de que es la peorcita version que hay ahi afuera, si uno tiene la opción de jugarlo en cualquier otro lado que no sea el Switch, se ve que se va a llevar una mejor experiencia.

You really can't justify the Switch anymore. It's a console that was behind in terms of design and specs a generation before its release. It's holding back the 3rd party gaming industry. At a certain point, a good game suffers from lack of console performance, MK1 is a perfect example right here.

I remember when I got disappointed when the PS3/X360 port of Mortal Kombat X was cancelled because "the hardware wasn't able to provide the wanted experience". Seeing the Switch port of Mortal Kombat 1 I can see why.

Para los cabecitas que se preguntan por qué el juego salió para switch y no para one/ps4 pues es MUY obvio que es debido a algún contrato con sony y Microsoft en el que para comercializar el juego en sus respectivas tiendas, este tendría que venderse exclusivamente para la nueva generación, para así elevar las ventas (no cuesta mucho pensar lo obvio)

If anyone thought the Switch version would be comparable to the PS5 or Xbox versions, they are delusional. That said, it's mighty impressive how well the Switch version holds up considering how old the console is (almost 7 years old with a 2015 mobile chipset). I think a couple of patches to fix some bugs and iron out the framerate and it would be worth recommending for those who want to play portably or have no other option.

The Switch version loses a lot of detail, but it still manages to look good and quite impressive considering the hardware.

I play mk1 on medium settings on steam deck and I was a bit confused because my game looked a lot better than the comparison. I love the video though it's pretty close to Xbox series s I just wish it was 60fps or if we could improve the graphics card on the steam deck that would be awesome great job btw

IMPORTANTE: Algo que el Analista no menciono en el detalle es que arreglaron casi en su totalidad el pelo que tantos problemas daba en MK11 en Switch.

Puede subir el AF en la Deck para que no se vean las texturas tan borrosas, no tendria mucho impacto en el performance specialmente si usas Cryotools, usar el setting mas bajo de fabrica no es siempre la mejor opcion, estoy seguro que es posible sacar otro poquito de calidad especialmente en las texturas y mantener el cap a 40fps.

I find it funny that in my opinion the Switch version looks better than the Steam Deck version in some specific points: 0:30 - The background of the Switch version is more detailed. 1:12 - The Switch version has more NPCs in the background, it's actually kind of funny that it has more NPCs than the Series S version too and if you look at the ground, you'll see that the texture quality on the Switch looks better than on Steam Deck. 2:07 - If you look at the ground and the faces of the trees, you will see that the Switch version has higher quality textures. 3:27 - The Switch version looks sharper and again if you look at the ground you will see that the Switch has an advantage in texture quality and shadow quality. 5:42 - GODRAYS is better applied in the Switch version than in the Steam Deck, just look at the balance of the lights in the windows, not only that, but the Switch version again has an advantage in the quality of the textures. 6:45 - The pool water in the Switch version has ripples like the PS5 and Series S version, but it doesn't in the Steam Deck version. 8:30 - The Steam Deck version stays at a rate of 40 ~ 50fps while the Switch version manages to maintain 60fps most of the time. I really don't think they did a bad job with the Switch version, I think the main drawbacks of this version are the loading times (which for some reason are not present in the video), the story mode lags a bit whenever you load a video and some strange visual glitches such as the complete absence of facial expressions on the characters, which makes some animations like Jhonny Kage's look completely strange and horrible on the Switch, in addition the framerate is a little worse than that of Mortal Kombat 11 and always Crashes when using a cameo on Switch. If they can fix these issues with a future update I can see this game being one of the most impressive ports the console has ever received.

The video capture doesn't do the steam deck justice, the resolution looks much better than this, its not blurred out as its showing, also it will get better with more patches and optimization, MK 11 looked great on the Steam deck.

The stean deck isn't running it well, at 400p all low settings fsr 2 upscalled to 800p. And is getting around low 40fps range. The switch has a higher frame rate than the deck 😂😂😂😂. Ooffff the steam deck needs ports of games, the other game that doesn't run well, ark survival evolved looks better on the switch due to this aswell.
