If Takeda has a gear that covers his eyes it better be called "like father, like son" as a callback to their old timeline relationship

7:30 Just to clarify, there is an intro dialogue between Kenshi and Ermac where Kenshi says “so many minds, so many voices” (which is also a reference to a line said by Takeda in Chapter 7 of MKX) but this hints that Kenshi has telepathy.

Just letting you know, Takeda’s mask in MKX was only on his Shirai Ryu Variant. Ninjitsu is a Scorpion variant just to clarify. I’m revisiting MKX and Takeda is my favorite character in that game (also Shirai Ryu is my favorite variant) so I’ve had this in my head lately.

I don't think they are cousins. There is leaked dialogue, where he interupts li mei saying they are distant cousins, and while it's hard to tell, since there is no voice acting to read the delivery, IMO, it reads like a panic response to hide something...

I think Kenshi has powers without Sento. He just didn’t know how to use them until the sword shows him. In the original timeline Kenshi couldn’t use his powers until he was trained by Ermac.

In MK11 we had more customization with the gear. I feel like it was a lazy poor decision to just give each character one thing. It’s lame.

I thought the reason why Kuai Liang had pyrokinesis is because Liu Kang switched his ancestry with Tanya’s. I also thought that was the reason why Tanya didn’t have pyrokinesis anymore like in previous games

Takeda was the most unique character in mkx he had three totally different variants. I hope that mk will return to the variants one day and they will make 4 because I always thought about the lasher, ronin, Shirai Ryu and telekinesis variants

I'd figure that Takeda's bladed whips would be the custom gear, much like how Baraka's arm blades had multiple variations.

buff ideas, spread the word Havoc: He needs at least five new attack strings, he needs his legacy move that titan havoc has were he takes off his head and rolls it but its a mid, has the same affect as reptiles acid ball, and also hits mid exploding on contact. he also needs another one of his legacy moves that again titan havoc has where he bends his hole body for a low projectile and the amp of that can be a knock down allowing for combo extentions for cameos like scorpion Sub-zero: he needs his attack strings made slightly faster except for his overhead, he also needs 1 or 2 new attack string launchers, both his regular and amp iceball needs to be faster to not only be able to combo with it off of normal attack strings but in juggle combos too. He should have the ability to throw his ice clone, i also think he should have his ice burst special back with the same proporties as mkx to compliment his ice clone(but just does not send you that far away). lastly he needs some of his damage scailing off ground freeze. Scorpion: should be buffed by making his amp ground tp a launcher again and make the cancel built in to both his regular and amp tp. buff the amp hellfire move by removing the damage over time and making it function like how it does in mkx allowing him to combo after hitting it. he needs new strings some mix ups(i personally want his mkx overhead back). some moves need to be sped up Quan shi: needs his mind control move from mkx back, and make half his attack strings faster. and finally his low tentacle needs to be one bar Raiden: change raiden's b2 back to the mkx launcher but make it as slow as sub'z b2. give him back his vicinity blast move back with the same properties as mkx. Give him back his mkx amp lightning projectile back for combo extentions but have his regular fully charged move have the same proportys as the amp. he also needs to be buffed by making his amp electrocute special launch no matter how many bars he uses liu kang: for starters nerf his f4 one button pressure but give him his 113 mkx launcher back along with maybe 2 or 3 more new attack strings to make up for his pressure and to make it less braindead. make his low fireball slightly faster, change his air fireball to the mkx fireball and the amp the one we have now. give him back his mk 11 dragon parry, and finally make his fatal blow start up 2 hits but the first one restands kung lao: nerf tf out of his wake up special by making it unsafe af on block. give him back his mkx or 9 spin back but have it have work the same as mk11 so he can use it more than two times in a combo. swap his dive kick now for a mix between his mkx or 9 dive kick. he needs his mkx tp, and his low hat back, but nerf his mix up buttion's he has now by making the overhead follow up slightly slower. give him his mk11 21212 attack string and his mkx 44 launcher attack string back. and also he needs his hat spin. Nitara: buff her by making her command dash like homelander so for instance all of her normal attack strings that leaves her in the air cost no bar anymore to command dash and it cost no bar when she is in the air command dashing for combos but the next one after that does. and also make fer overhead that leaver her in the air slightly faster. she should also be able plus after hitting her bf2 special allowing her to cameo combo after it. lastly give her back her legacy projectile move back. Reiko: give him his invasion boss special move, the one is like jades dead butterfly move from mk11 but it launches and he uses his spear(this is already in the game files btw). give this guy at least 1 more special move that involes his knife that's on his person but he never uses for some reason. he needs like 5 new normal attack stings involving his knife and his spear, maybe 2 of them be launchers. smoke: give him his smoke cloud move back from mk9, along having it hit low but have the same start up as the one he got now. make his command dash special cancelable anywhere instead of just near yr opponent. also another command dash sending him backwards but the max distance is half screen but he can cancel it at any time during that animation too. and lastly make it easyer to do ground combos after his amp db 4 special. y'all stay tune i got more heat for every character

I hope they keep his jokes a kinda chill vibe it reminded me of Nightwing how he said stuff and as Nightwing being one of my favorite comic characters of all time it made me like Takeda.

I'm really glad that Takeda is Kenshi's cousin now and honestly, am hoping that he's not a time traveller. Because if otherwise, Takeda would probably get sent back to his own timeline by Liu Kang if that is the case. I really want to see Takeda (now that his age group is more on par with Johnny and Kenshi) more involved in Mortal Kombat's story

Man I wish we had more skins for dlc characters instead of just color palettes. I remember Takeda had cool skins in MKX.

Actually, Kenshi does read minds in MK1, he says it himself in some of his dialogues, for example, his intro with Ermac "Kenshi-So many minds, so many voices, Ermac-You hear our thoughts?" I definitely knew that Takeda could not be kenshi's son because, Imo Takeda appears much older than kenshi in this game. I think your predictions on his color pallets have a chance of being correct.

Takeda's 3 variations in MKX are Ronin, Shiri Ryu, and Slasher. Ninjutsu was one of Scorpion's variations. His mask was in the Shiri Ryu variation. I wish his whips were his gear piece, not his mask.

I just got a crazy idea. Imagine Takeda being the member of Yakuza coming after Kenshi. That would be an interesting twist imo. As for the gear, I hope the weapon would change slightly with the mask. The game devs would have wide range to experiment there

In Smoke’s arcade ending Hanzo Hasashi gets raised by the Shirai Ryu and in Kung Lao’s (as i remember) ending Shujinko gets raised by the White Lotus and as a Kameo Shujinko is pretty old so that could be a reason why Takeda is old in the Kombat Pack trailer

Honestly i wish hey added another option for their weapon for those that use them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the original timeline Kenshi wasn't a telepath until he got blind and Ermac taught him that. He had innate abilities, yes, but couldn't use them until after. Maybe it's the case here as well, he just doesn't know he can.

You know would be cool in this new timeline when kenshi does settle down and get married what if he has a daughter instead I think that would be a cool change

The most coolest reveal that I think would be awesome is takeda he is a cool character to begin with he is a kind person I love how he is so strong and can read minds hope he gets to read minds in this era if he can that would be cool I wonder if you can change takeda’s whips that would be. A cool gear and the mask the mask like sub zero and scorpion would be amazing I can’t wait for his skins
