So I figured but thought it was just me! I watched his best outfits (and worst) and he had a bunch of negative things forgetting they are just outfits/costumes! Decorations are just that! Pointless. But some things did make sense like Mileena’s knees guards and Sindell’s buckles.

I actually understood his anger over things like cheap combos and the game being unfinished. I felt pretty deflated too when I first got the game and discovered what all it's into. After a while it just stops being productive to listen to a guy say a game sucks after you've already bought it and committed to learning it though.

I saw one of his videos in my time feed about up blocking so I gave it a watch. I didn’t know the guy or his content but with the benefit of the doubt, I wanted to hear his take on up blocking. I didn’t even finish half of the video because there were too many incorrect statements that I disagreed on and he didn’t come off as trolly or comedic. Everyone who can make a jump in kick has an overhead and avoiding chip damage/denying your opponent from getting meter is always a good thing.

@@Hoboken90 It's not lying. Invasions being "boring" (assuming that's what you mean by Fate being right about it since Fate doesn't even PLAY invasions) is your opinion. This season has been way funner grind / way more koins & XP from doing it for chars. I've already made 1200 Dragon Krystals on char mastery from this month alone. I like grinding for stuff I have fun with it. It gives me a good 30-40 HOURS of content a month. That is including the progressive tower/grinding for every hidden path/skin/pallet etc. Yes it could be more but that's way more than World Tour gives every month. World Tour got boring real fast imo. It's also just not really my type of thing so that's an opinion. Free costumes/grindable gear/things like that make it fun to keep grinding koins for the shrine as they add more skins monthly to it. Then of course there is Titan Battles. I assume Ashrah's is coming soon which will give her new skin/pallets. Then hopefully Li Mei's too. (For those who don't do KL) then ofc there is Kombat League itself which is what a lot of people enjoy. I've never even played KL & I've put like 400 hours into game so like 100 a month. & the game keeps me coming back for more because it keeps adding new chars/seasons/skins monthly for me to grind. SF6 after month one was old & they have only added new skins after 6 months after release & they all cost money/no grind for them.
Mk1 is a beta atm! Considering they stopped working on mk11 early than claimed that they have had alot of time to work on mk1 and that it was going to knock out sox off! I love my mk franchise, but this has fallen fat! Invasions is a Major let-down, repetitive is a understatement! Where is Conquest and krypt? Mr Ed said there's Surprises coming? Not fast enough! I thought Injustice 2s Grinding was trying! Mk1s Grinding is on the level of Stupidity! The effort needed to get the bare minimum is a joke! And the skins in sf6 while there are only two per character, they remind me of the best years of mk where there were also two skins per character that felt unique instead of what we have now, either they are uninspired, or there are 10$ each.

The price for DLC costumes is the same for both games, but SF6 charged over $100 for all the Ninja Turtle costumes (no palettes). MK1 gives every character at least 3 costumes for free and there will be more in the future.

I personally thought Street Fighter 6 was the best fighting game of the year and I was a mortal Kombat fan first. Street Fighter started with Crossplay, which me and my friends are still waiting for in MK1 so we can play together You’ve made good points with the amount of unlockables, bonus content and more characters in Mortal Kombat 1 over SF. Though most of the characters are Asian men and women with similar builds. Street Fighter has a bit better variety, you can’t confuse Lily and Marisa for instance. Well Kitana and Mileena could be mistaken for each other if you didn’t see their original costume colors or their weapons. Too few Nitara’s and Shao Khans in body diversity. A game with ninjas, gods, demons, and robots you’d think their silhouettes would have more punch. Though the Kameo system does add another level of customization Both games are a lot of fun, and I wouldn’t want to ruin anyone’s enjoyment of either. The cast has always had a lot of asians, most the chars look the same as they always have so if ur a fan of the game for years why does that bother you? (unless ur mad they finally made sub look his canon race?) Man MK can't win. They add a bunch of new chars that look creative like D'Vorah & Ferra / Torr & get attacked, they keep it classic & get attacked.
I get where you are coming from and that has been something MK has always been true for MK games. Most wackier characters are few like Havik, the centaurs, the shokan, and the demons in each game. There aren’t many crazy proportioned characters like Zangief and Marisa but with that being said SF does have an issue with making the same character with small deviations Ken, Ryu, Gouken, Akuma, Dan, Sakura, dark/evil ryu, dark Sakura. All these characters stand out with their design but lack in the creative gameplay area. While sub zero and scorpion in this game could be mixed up when starting a match (because of these seasonal palettes) once the first move is made every player knows who that character is.

I dont like mk1. In my opinion, I payed for an unfinished game. So many bugs like How does a fighting game not have the payers start in neutral? Thats one of the bugs that needs to be fixed asap. I played invasions already 40 hours this month & have had a lot of fun grinding mastery xp/koins/building talismans for the progressive tower & trying to get as high as possible. (Already have got 50+ wishes on shrine & 1200 Dragon Krystals thru mastery this month which I'm saving for a premium skin for my main Li Mei - bought her first premium skin with grinded krystals too) Your opinion isn't a fact just cuz you get bored doesn't mean everyone does. I think it's kinda cool that we all are drawn to this game for dif reasons. But no reason to continually put down a mode just because you don't personally enjoy it. Also doesn't count as "lack of content" because you don't personally LIKE the content. It still exists. I wouldn't say SF6 Lacks content. I would say World Tour isn't for me & I find it boring but I get why it appeals to some people.

What can you unlock offline and also why did they release a physical edition if it was basically a beta it pisses me off. The game on the disc is basically in playable. Everything nrs is doing now is damage control and they are acting like they are doing us a favor. If I could I would return the game and wait for an ultimate edition in a few years.

@@mkryu Before I get into the other stuff, I actually think Tonia is the ugliest female on the roster. Second, I and a lot of people find invasions fun, upper cutting has always done a good amount of damage, and grinding is a large part in gaming period. Yes, crashing was an issue, but I think that just got fixed recently. And it only started after they added the wifi filter, and adding features in an already live games sometimes causes issues. This isn't the first time that has ever happened.

I came back with there’s like only 3 (real) females in the game, Li Mei not included. Her body is eerily similar to Kung Lao’s 😆 I’ve been grinding Invasions lately and it constantly crashes. Sometimes it happens when you switch mesas, sometimes when you scroll too fast in Character Mastery menu. So annoying.

I've only had it crash one time and that was during invasions in a fight with Kitana: who is actually in the top 3 prettiest females. I love street fighter 6, had a blast playing it. However after a couple of months there was nothing left to do so I stopped playing it. Mortal Kombat 1 is not perfect and the monetisation is absolutely absurd. Having said that, I can't remember the last time I had so much fun with a game. Why should people be criticised for their opinions? It is possible to point out the issues a game has with out being aggressive or nasty, I think some people have forgotten that.

I think SF6 IS better, but MK1 is perfectly fine. Its just preference. They have their upsides and downsides. For example, MK1 gets wayy more content than SF6. There are definitely issues with both.

@@mrlee3412what content? Most of it is just lazy reskins and palette swaps. SF6 World Tour is way better than Invasions and Story Mode. Story mode, although enjoyable, isn’t gameplay. You’re just watching a movie/cutscenes with several playable battles in between. The Battle Hub in SF6 is also super fun and engaging because you can play classic Capcom games, play matches at a cabinet, and also play avatar battles with your avatar you created in World Tour. The tournament feature is also pretty cool and it’s fun minutes before a tournament starts because players’ avatars are doing emotes together like a flash mob 😅

It’s a shit show right now and I’ve no desire to come back just to get abused online by every new character that “big surprise” changes the meta and mechanics.
This game has weird superhero physics and doesn’t feel like a mk game. Some of the animations and moves look as if the characters are doing them underwater. I’m glad there are people like Fate, Dynasty, and Jaded Rabbit who are bringing attention to all of MK’s problems and not just “consuming product and then get excited for next product.” Ask questions or we will just be at the mercy of these companies.
Well in all honestly, more often than not he has a point sorry...MK1 is indeed rather bad than good of a fighting game! There is a reason why MK1 is the first NRS game that didn't win the best fighing game
@@lordronn472 I mean, 11 won FG of the year despite it being two years later and when NRS fully abandoned the game (lol), so yeah. At this point, anything can happen.
@@blacksabbath9631 Well I suggest we wait and see....And let us keep in mind that we have Tekken 8 coming in our way and the masterpiece called SF6 grows and grows!
@@lordronn472 MK also grows (and rather faster than SF6 in some moments via costumes with additional fighters, would say), though and it seems, upcoming story dlc will bring some modes (datamining), but because NRS is bad scheduling, it won’t happen soon-ish
