having Mileena that low is a wild take😱 a lot of the issues you addressed with her can be solved or worked around with Lao kameo. Not only that but the setups and hard to block things she gets with the hat is so good. I think her neutral is the weakest part of her game still but the hat makes it at least doable.

Finally yall seeing that Havik is STRUGGLING more than everyone else. Even sub & scorpion. Making it to Elder with Havik requires double or triple the work that other characters don't have to do because of the tools they have that Havik lacks.

Sub has slow unsafe overhead,gaps, shitty damage, poor combo conversion,his standing 21, jumping 12 scale his damage even further, he's a high risk character, has the most bad match ups,shitty slow projectile, his combos whiff easily especially in the corner The people that claim he's good don't even play him and those that do don't have the guts to choose him in a komp to bail them out when they are losing.

As a Baraka main, it is so damn aggravating when I pop off and put someone in a corner, only for them to get out of that corner and spend the ENTIRE GAME holding Back and Up, just running away. But I'm a Baraka. All the moves that covers a lot of ground are unsafe, and the projectile can be ducked.

Yeah I started playing nitara this season. There are certainly some matchups that are hard. Anyone that can restrict your movement makes the match up hard cause now to close the distance you got some slow and not too safe normals and it's hard to keep some pressure going

Shao being that low is giving me mk11 ptsd. I mained him day 1 in that game and stuck with him all the way through to mk1 even though he was literally bottom 1 at mk11's launch. Honestly, my only two complaints I have is that his down 1 is too stubby and his stand 2 has a weird hitbox when it comes to anti-airs. I've clipped people's feet with stand 2 and they don't get hit which is pretty annoying. But honestly my biggest issue is that people can just mash on you. His fastest buttons are high, his fastest poke has abysmal range, and his other mids, lows, and overheads are too slow to beat people mashing. Not to mention his armor goes over people who are mashing pokes and gives them full combo punishes. I think a range buff on down 1 would go a very long way. Also just wanted to note that the highest his health can go is 1200, not 1250

I think the need to the ermac meter for health move is just once it activates it starts draining meter for example if you activate it with 1 bar it just won’t last that long and if ur willing to use 3 bars then that’s up to you but I think it’s dumb it only drains if your hit

What Rain really needs is for one of his projectiles to be faster and for his water bubble to be less garbage Those two things give him some extremely polarizing matchups against the likes of Reiko, Shang, Quan chi, and Peacemaker

I love Sindel. She was main in mk11 and is my main in this game, and when she inevitably gets nerfed, she will still be my main. Baraka and Shang Tsung are the others I will stick with no matter what

For me, the main issue with Shang is that Young Form offers very little except decent projectiles and his overhead but you want remain in Old Form for the majority of the match. I think NRS wants people to switch between the two but honestly, he can't really do big combos/damaging in his Young version. The only time you want to be in Young is to chip them out at the end with the zoning. Maybe give his young form something idk.

sub is decent but his weakness are very apparent when fighting kung lao, tanya and lui kang. People just don’t know their options.

Dude what does it matter that you use the entire kameo with cyrax kenshi? If you summon sento the bar depletes anyway. There are so many kenshi things you dont know and thats why you always put it in top 1

In my opinion, Johnny and Ashrah are exactly where the game balance should be for all characters. They are extremely strong at what they do, and are fundamentally very good. Kenshi and Sindel should be Nerfed to their level slightly, and everyone else needs to be buffed up to their level

Khameleon fixed Sub’s gameplay problem (I would still like to see a reduction in clones recovery)

I believe the best buff for li mei is to her EX projectile. It should be mid and should destroy other projectiles (only when she uses meter, of course), like liu kang's projectile. Her zoning is basically useless since you can always duck. She always has to get in with those T-rex arms.

I main khameleon and all you have to do is stand block. There is no low, only an overhead. I love her but it’s not that hard to go against her.

I agree with most of this list but theres a few things I would change Scorpion is not a character that is needing buffs currently, he’s winning tournaments and has won and place better that characters such as geras and reptile. Scorpion mains have been wanting a mid mid string since release and now they got its now “we can’t combo off of it” the fact you got a mid mid string makes it safe to use your mid high string as people will just start trying to block the full string rather than ducking it Sub zero honestly just needs a damage buff as you said but the main issue with sub zero players is that they try to play aggressive when his kit is designed for a defensive style of play where you try to bait your opponent into poking when they shouldn’t, never mind that sub has vapors and a ice ball that can help keep distance plus an ice clone and all he really needs is a very slight damage buff Reptile I feel is still bottom 6 his buffs while nice did nothing to help him with his weaknesses, he has no mixups they should’ve given his back 3, 1 string a low overhead mixup so that you aren’t running just the same 3,4 kameos and his projectile has a incredibly slow start up Kung lao is top 12 ish maybe higher, he has a safe armor launcher that goes into an full combo which makes pressuring him frustrating, he has two different projectiles, and a dive kick that is plus on miss allowing him to have the advantage moving in, that’s not even considering too his low overhead mix up that’s fast and is safe on block. The only other changes I would have is moving reptile down to struggle, moving mileena, shoa, sub, and scorpion into average/struggle tier, and moving Shang down a tier

Smoke actually had no mid starters I looked and was surprised to find that out because I was getting somewhat irritated with the constant poking also with what I’m seeing with sub the only thing I find that would need a damage increase is his mystic vapors that is what kills the damage and without that you need to be a little bit more risky to get the high damage so I feel if mystic vapors scaling was a little less extreme then it would be good for sub

Havik my have plud frames but with the right kameo hd can get 37-40 but this tier list is good

I feel like diff has a vendetta against kenshi. I haven’t seen a single kenshi main win a big tournaments. They make top 8 but almost never win. I think sindel is tougher to deal with because at any point she can decide to just zone you out as well.

they need to buff sub zero ice ball start up it takes so long i don't think i've landed it once because of how easy it is to block also doesn't combo into strings i know thats what the down 4 back is for but still and the amount of gaps between his main strings are incredibly annoying

I rly never will understand how kenshi is always in S realistically the only strong tool he has is sento and he’s hard to pull off most of the time if you use a rush down character or a zoner which is like half the cast

Diff you’ll be surprised how many people don’t expect to get destroyed by Baraka we brake about 80% of armors weather is spamming B or back A all of them get broken hard todo a nice combo but I made it to Demi god all season just using Baraka and Sektor 😅

The tierlist is ALMOST perfect, but the struggle/poop tier is totally off. Only characters struggling rn is scorpion, shang, and havik. All the others in these low categories should be in average or even great
