Mortal Kombat 11 Shao Kahn Kills Kotal Kahn Scene MK11
Experience Mortal Kombat's first-ever major expansion. Aftermath features a brand-new cinematic story centered around trust and deceit. Fire God Liu Kang, the new keeper of time and protector of Earthrealm, looks to secure the future he envisions. In order to do so, he is forced to enlist the help of some unlikely allies and familiar foes. Players will have to decide who they can trust and who they must defeat with fate on the line. Forge a new history.

Revenant Liu Kang is dead revenant Kung Lao, Kitana and Jade were left. Jade is another character that gets a bad rep in Mortal Kombat she always dying so harshly in this and I know Kitana seen her best friend get sent through the floor of the boat but I guess she was too focus on her mother.

As much as I like Mileena, Kotal does NOT deserve the treatment he's getting in the story. He's just been on a streak of taking Ls all around. In this fight, it wasn't even a fight, but rather a straight-up execution. His death is not what bothers me, but rather how weak they made Kotal. This is supposed to be a Khan vs Khan fight, we didn't get that here.

Remember when Raiden said that he can't be affected by the time merger since he is a god and then Liu Kang wasn't affected when he became one? Or when Kronika said that every soul contains a portion of temporal energy and then when Sindel is being revived her clothes changed showing that she was somehow being restored in time and that also explains why Shang Tsung can restore himself to his younger self. If anything this storymode proved to be well written and it is one of the few stories about time travels that manage to make sense.

Tsunami Shallot to be fair the story is a bit meaningless. By that I mean all the deaths and everything that happens. At first I was shocked like wtf they chopped my man’s head off but then you realize a while later oh yeah the timeline will just be changed. Everyone in MK receives an ass-whooping/death or two at some point, it's almost a right of passage or like a tax every character must pay but good grief my guy Kotal feels like he gets it the worst. 😭 I loved Kotal's design and concept since he first appeared but it feels like he's always taking L's left and right or maybe it's just the way he gets beat that magnifies the feeling. He even gets murked in his own trailer and gives up his fatality spot to Jacqui. These things don't happen to anyone else. I can't be crazy. NRS designed a cool character that they don't seem to like. 🤣🤣

A.J Thomas Lui Kang reset the timeline to before Mortal Kombat was even a thing which explains why we saw the great Kung Lao at the end before he was earth realms champion. So basically everything that’s happened from Mk 9 up until MK 11 aftermath has been erased from history so in reality none of the Mk characters who died from mk 9 to Mk 11 aftermath were really gone.

Outworlds army really doesn't seem to care who the emperor is. Kotal is the leader, they love him. Shao Khan takes back the throne they love him. Kitana takes the throne and then they all follow her. Shao Khan Comes back again and then they all love him again. Its like once you take the place of Khan, no body was loyal to the old one they just keep moving on like nothing really happend.
