Punish it if it's destroying the story I guess. "Kronika sees you hefting the rock and counters by firing off a lightning bolt with you as it's some target." They still initiate combat immediately if they continue so they get what they want, but being the one person heavily crisped in the "surprise" round by the big bad can leave a lasting impression

Damn let’s discuss just how OP Liu kang is.... he defeated Shang Tsung while he had the souls of Kronika, Centrion,Raiden, Fujin, Shao kahn, Sindel, and the revenants while he was wielding the crown! I know there was 2 endings but I’m sure Liu kang is the canon one. But, Liu kang has officially went down as the most powerful character ever in MK history.

Ya the power scaling has been shit through out all of mk11 honestly there better off reckoning aftermatch 2 be a alternate universe of some sort otherwise the story will truly make no sense and even liu kang and raiden merging into one being tht has enough power to beat kronika is ridiculous as kronika with and later without a crown froze liu kang in place and later in aftermatch even raiden was frozen in time once he launched a attack against kronika without a crown

u know that maybe their just not showing us everything right? like maybe Kitana is now an Elder God, hell maybe like Kronika they too might have Elder God kids, who knows, in Kitanas ending in the Arcade mode there are 2 boys/girls fighting infront of her throne using wooden swords and from what i remeber she was smiling so maybe those are her kids and while we dont see Liu Kang in the picture i would imagine those are their kids, whatever the case we shall see, all i know is that their romance is too iconic for them to not put it in the next game. sorry for my english its not my first languege.

I hate always wondered what the main villian's of every story would actually plan to do with all their power if they win in the end. Why would a being with shang tsungs power at that point care about being worshipped at all? Kanos mk11 ending put it quite nicely when he gets really bored with the hourglass and forces himself to earn his victories once again.

Shang Tsung's ending proofs that he is actually very powerful socceror with his good, cunning strategy. But seriously, I expect the fight will be much better while maintain the original climax. I expect more intense battle between the good Gods and the evil soccerors. This $40 DLC is bit lame, but at least it gets to full circle, where the first MK boss being the final boss, and the true first MK hero become the last hero standing. Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa once again portrays Shang Tsung very well !

It's not just terrible writing, but also terrible character development for other jobbers (the same problem for the base game) and terrible price. $40 is such a waste. Just wait for another year, or wait this expansion sold in bundle with future DLC to get lower price. Talking about DLC, NetherRealm should listen to their fans on what characters they want. I'm ok there's no Mileena, she has shone many times. But undeveloped characters that MIA, Reptile, Takeda, Rain, Havik, Cyrax, Sektor instead of RoboCop. I like RoboCop, but NRS should get what majority wants. $40 is absolutely unworthy unless you want take the bullet
