Noob Saibot is actually a Tobias Boon spelled backwards ( tho I don’t know who this refers too, I am new mortal kombat and it’s lore ) and I believe it was fan’s speculation the led the developers creating him to be an actually character which is cool ( or was that ermac? Always get confused with ermac and noobs appearance in early games )
@@TheFalsoblanco Yeah I know so many different things he says I mean in his intros insult bi hon on the story mode does the same but in his arcade ending which is supposed be his best outcome he redeems bi hon
@@TheFalsoblanco its not contradicts, that line means he prefer Bi-Han died as human than live as evil being who created by Quan-chi. Just look at him when he was still Bi-Han, he's infamous and by the lore he also beat 4 elemental gods and hold his own againts Shinok. Kuai-Liang just want him to died as honored man as he is.
Funny, I Just though that the reason they use Bi-Han instead of Noob was because Almost Everyone in MK won't take it seriously (That's Not Johnny Cage) or think it's Intimating, they use Bi-Han cuz it's more Intimating
I really hate that Bi Han can’t be restored back to his regular self. I would love to see the Original Sub Zero and Kui Liang restore their relationship and both lead the Lin kuei. Also they should just change his name officially to Bi Han since everybody else call him that.
@@klomp4488 yea I seen it and I loved that I just wish they actually made that happen. They can have 2 different sub zeros and differentiate between the two the same way they do with Ryu and Ken on street fighter. I think that would be dope
I don't get how everyone says that Bi-Han easily succumbed to evil, like damn I'm pretty sure being resurrected by THE evil necromancer will do that to you
I feel like they can give noob saibot/bi-han a good redemption plot where subzero scorpion nightwolf and raiden do some idk spell to find his soul and bring his humanity back but still let bi-han have the dark shadowy powers but have him use it for good instead of evil he'd be an amazing hero with his abilities
Agree with this, stick with this shadow powers of him but do a redemption to him. Just like Scorpion. Seriously,Bi-han deserve better storyline next mk games :( together with Kuai Liang, they can make lin kuei clan more stronger
The music at end of the video is remind me for first games of mortal Kombat it's classic and cool and your the first one which I see used this cool song😏
It astounds me that people don't realise that he is basically saying "my brother is worthless and useless. Somehow, you're even worse". It's a taunt, to get under her skin.
Would have put more weight to not only his character arc, but Scorpion’s and Khuai Liang’s too Also, would have lessened a bit the hate of the fans on D’Vorah’s back (maybe)
Idk why scorpion is so angry at fujin for losing to bi-han. Not like scorpion was trying to get the amulet for quan chi aswell and died twice because of it.
Kitana: You are not the original. Sub-Zero: First came my brother, Bi-Han. Kitana: Did you inherit his evil legacy? Scorpion: Kitana! Has your mind been melded? It was all Quan Chi's idea!
I like that in another intro Kuai Liang questions Kitana due to her relation to Shao Kahn. Kitana and Sub-Zero mirror each other. Connected to shady family members and try to leave that legacy behind and restore their family honour.
Scorpion is actually a good guy who lost his wife and son, murdered by Sub-Zero's clan and Quan Chi in disguise as Sub-Zero but not by Sub-Zero in one story. Another story says Sub-Zero as Bi-Han murdered Scorpion, his wife and son. Scorpion only wanted Sub-zero to avenge the murder of his family, but in the other story he discovered Quan Chi framed Sub-Zero and made his clan kill Scorpion and his family.
@ericnevarez2012 Yeah, Mythologies: Sub-Zero happened in both the original and alternate timelines, so Sub-Zero always kills Scorpion while Quan Chi always kills Scorpion's clan. Only the movies and the new timeline in MK1 differ from that axiom as Mythologies wasn't canceled by Raiden's displaced message in time that was sent back during Chapter 1 of MK9. I believe the recent live action film had Sub-Zero do the killing of both Scorpion's clan/family and Scorpion, which made him guilty on both counts. However, the Scorpion's Revenge film had Quan Chi do the killing of both the clan/family and Scorpion while disguised as Sub-Zero (hence why the Lin Kuei followed him), which made Sub-Zero innocent in both counts. But the games are consistent in fault due to Mythologies existing in both timelines (though MK1 will lack Mythologies supposedly).
I think the reason he is called by his real name instead of the title which we know him is because he’s was so infamous while alive that you can bet at least two realms have heard of someone like Bi-Han. On the other hand, people refer to other characters with their nobility titles because maybe they aren’t as known as him, for example, not a lot of people refer to Sub-Zero as Khuai Liang, only people that are close to him, and Scorpion, whose name is Hanzo Hasashi, is not mentioned a lot because most people have only known him as Scorpion. Also, there’s the possibility that Noob Saivot is the name given to him by the chaos masterminds, most likely Quan Chi, to show that they have power over him, and maybe is a title not known outside of chaosrealm, but I could be wrong
@@theonewhoismany8072 He’s not necessarily evil. He has the excuses of ignorance and “I was just following orders”. 1. Scorpion was hired by Quan Chi and deliberately placed exactly where he and Sub Zero would meet. Bi-Han did not go out of his way to fight Scorpion or the Shirai Ryu, it was a setup. Sub Zero resented Quan Chi for this because he needlessly endangered his life with this action. Also even if he was hunting down the Shirai Ryu systematically, they are rival clans and it is to be expected. It’s kill or be killed. 2. He didn’t know or question what Quan Chi would do with the amulet. He was just following whatever his Grandmaster told him to do. After Quan Chi reveals what the amulet is and what he will do with it he doesn’t even believe him at first, thinking he is just a madman. After Raiden comes and tells him what he has done he jumps into the Netherrealm without hesitation to redeem himself and save Earthrealm. 3. He spares Sareena’s life for no real reason, showing he isn’t merciless. 4. Even in the case of Shang Tsung he was following the Lin Kuei Grandmaster’s orders. All in all this guy doesn’t seem evil at all to me. Nobody calls Shujinko evil for unknowingly freeing Onaga. At worst he is an overly loyal and naive dumbass. The only really bad grey area is fighting for Outworld against Earthrealm in the first MK game. A “better” man (ie MK9 Cyrax or Smoke) would have fought against the Lin Kuei Grandmaster instead of following him, but loyalty and integrity towards your organisation are also virtues.
Joe Taslim always looks good fighting in the movie like Bi Han role Joe is my favorite character as well as his younger brother in Mortal Kombat games. I hope to see him in Mortal Kombat movie too and preferably played by Joe Taslim no body else!. And of course i also wish that Kuai Liang's part would also be more merciful and peaceful than Bi Han's role was to be a merciless assassin who didn''t know the weather!. Joe Taslim is the best Sub Zero and badass this role ! 🥶🥶💙💙⚔⚔
For some reason after listening to parts of the conversation between Bi Han, Liu Kang and Kenshi i inevitably get goosebumps, something strange is going on and the question arises what the hell is going on in Bi Han's head when he acts like he is a big dictator with orders to be followed! Don't know why, but now it seems strongly that Kuai Liang might show up very soon, so it could be that Hanzo will reveal his true identity to Bi Han at some point? I don''t know why but i have a crazy thought in my head that maybe Bi Han doesn''t know who Hanzo really is yet? I know it feels and maybe a bit crazy idea, but maybe that could be one reason why Kuai Liang is disguised as Hanzo that his identity is revealed?
I know everyone wants Bi Han to be redeemed but I really hope they keep him an evil heartless monster. Not everyone needs a redemption arc and he is perfect the way he is. He lost all sense of morality whej he was resurrected anyways
@Joshua Hidalgo Before his coming of Grandmaster, Kuai Liang was apparently named "Tundra" if an intro between him and Bi-Han is anything to go by. I kinda wanna see Kuai Liang in his days of Tundra.
So wait, as far as I get the story from videos. Scorpion killed Sub-Zero (Bi-Han) and he was resurrected as Noob Saibot. Yet before he died, he said that he didn’t kill Scorpions family, to which the first one just ignored, and brought only his skull and a spine, then ragequit somewhere. Now, as I see, everyone hates Bi-Han. So my question is: why is he hated?
I love it how when it comes to frost being grandmaster bi Han and kuai liang put aside their differences and agree she would make a terrible grandmaster
I'll be real, I hate how Bi Han is treated while Noob Saibot, Noob is a twisted and darkened form of Bi Han made from his natural evil that he should have as an assassin. He was framed and murdered then warped into this shadow of who he was exemplifying all his negative traits and brainwashing him into reveling into his "vile power" yet everyone else who was like this such as Scorpion and the Revenants get some kind of compassion and sympathy for their awful state. Characters trying to understand and save them from themselves. Bi Han meanwhile has no such thing, he's treated as if he was always Noob Saibot and not once Bi Han a man who stood on the balance. He was evil but he was good, he would make good and bad decisions. Hell in MK9 they directly mention how Bi Han once stopped Shinnok from invading earthrealm and in that same game he saved Sarena and showed compassion when he thought she died for him. Bi Han deserves to be redeemed but it feels like Netherrealm refuses to acknowledge that a once prominent man can even be changed. He is forever trapped in darkness with nobody to come for him. Now with the reboot Bi Han is still showing these Noob Saibot traits without much of his compassion or what I'd argue would be his humanity. He's just evil again and will likely die evil with no one to ever come trying to save him.
