I’ve always felt bad for Bi Han, he was kidnapped as a baby and forced to become a assassin, killed for a crime he didn’t commit, and was then turned into a evil, undead slave, disowned by everyone even his own brother for something he didn’t choose to become and no one tries to save him, or put his spirit to rest.
He may not have been personally involved in the massacre of Scorpion's, clan and family, but he certainly didn't feel badly that they killed. Bi-Han's not an example of pure evil as a human, but he absolutely was not good by any means at all because he was a remorseless killer from start to finish. Becoming a wraith just made him worse.
Yeah, what Epsilon said. He wasn't a good person at the start, and death has only brought out his worse while peeling away anything that made him good.
@@SnowyWolborg I'm still confused what the difference between a revenant and wraith is in mortal kombat.. They're both different in physical form and appearance but what Is the functional difference?
Lol kahn eventually orders bi han to go and assassinate goro only for kahn to save goro and rally the shokan just to retake outworld and make outworld great again.....😁😁😁😁
Bi-Han: i was killed unjustly Raiden: And for that, Scorpion lost my trust Bi-Han: That is not justice truly shows what kind of character Raiden is in this timeline
I liked that Raiden beat the shit out of Scorpion in story mode and made him apologise for what he did to Bi-Han. But I'm with Noob in this. That's not justice. Scorpion always causes troubles and gets away with it.
@@tiaaaron3278 to be fair it would've been sort of justified if scorpian did that just cuz bi Han killed him but scorpian killed bi han for the wrong reason
3:02 "Death is the coldest ice" That line gave me goosebumps.. that should honestly be Bi-Hans top memorable character quote. It both perfectly represents him as Noob Saibot and Sub-Zero.
Noob Saibot: Where is your fear? Johnny Cage: Must have left it in my other pants. Noob Saibot: We will find it. *Cut to next scene where they’re both in Johnny’s bedroom looking for his other pair of pants*
I like these lines. 1:56 *name one realm you control* 2:09 *A Khan with no throne* 2:14 *From beyond the grave* 1:28 *kill you* 21:22 *Your soul is black as b*** 9:23 *You will sing a pain for me* 31:00 *I like my chances black* 40:41 *The perfect savage perhaps*
I’m disappointed that there isn’t _one_ line where Scorpion regrets his miskilling of Bi-Han. Would’ve been nice, playing out like: Scorpion: “I’m sorry, for what I’ve done.” Noob Saibot: “Then apologize… with your life!” Scorpion: “Vengeance, is a terrible plague that goes beyond death.” Noob Saibot: “Do you regret what you’ve done?” Scorpion: “I do, every time I look at Kuai Liang.” Noob Saibot: “Allow me to help you atone.”
@@ScottyandFriends Don’t recall that happening, especially in this timeline; Quan Chi hired the Lin Kuei to retrieve Shinnok’s Amulet and in exchange, he would wipe out the Shirai Ryu. Though in wiping out the Shirai Ryu, he impersonated the Lin Kuei, specifically Bi-Han, and carried out his task to manipulate and turn scorpion on them. Raiden offered in MK9 to restore the Shirai Ryu if Bi-Han was spared, to which he reluctantly agreed. But after dragging Bi-Han to hell and beating him up for antagonizing him (Scorpion) personally, Quan Chi showed up and replayed the events of the Massacre. Then he killed Bi-Han because of it, losing Raiden’s trust.
@@CoolDude5633554 lol I know the lore between the clans. Why do you think Scorpion is dead before the start of MK:1? It’s because Subzero killed him in the shaolin temple. Please go watch a summarization of Mortal Kombat Sub Zero Mythologies or just watch the cutscenes of it
Agreed. They had Wraith Scorpion apologise to Raiden for killing Bi-Han in story mode but not even once in intros. Instead he keeps moping about his dead family again and again and again. I'm sick of Scorpion getting away with his deeds. I'm surprised they had Kung Lao and Liu Kang call him out at all.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Sean Chiplock as an actor. But whoever directed him to use that Dr. Klaw-esque voice, to me, was a questionable choice at best & baffling at worst.
Noob's line about hurting Jax to hurt Sub-Zero held a lot of weight. MKX mentions Jax and Sub-Zero helped each other after they were freed out of Quan-Chi's control. Would have loved to hear more of their history. Shared trauma and all.
I imagine Sub-Zero was also traumatized becoming a cyborg against his will, Jax could’ve helped him it with his own history as having cybernetic arms. Or maybe vice versa where Subs helps Jax get used to them.
@@tiaaaron3278 It's the overall tone of his 'quips' makes me think that, when you compare it to his usual lines, where his intention is clearly to get the others riled up / tries hard to get to them / mudsling. The line you mentioned does not really change my overall perception of his interaction with NW. Both are exchanging statements, not insulting eachother.
This is my favorite depiction of Bi-Han as a wraith. He really is essentially the embodiment of Death in this game, if Death was a skilled assassin rather than a guide.
Maybe it is, but it's a pretty lame one if that's the case. It's the "Deathly Hallows", not the "Deathly Hollows". If anyone's gonna make a reference, the least they can do is use the right words.
@@tenjenk That just makes me think of a break room in Hell where they're both grabbing a cup of coffee, casually chatting about the souls they've taken over the past week.
Its definitive that this guys made a better job in the exchanges of this games than in Injustice 2. Injustice has too many repeated lines that sometimes don't make sense, and in between some personal banthers for some charachters. But this one... every exchange is unique and personal for each charachter.
There could have been more in Injustice 2 for DLC fighters, but the voice actor strikes at that time prevent that from ever becoming a reality, if only modding can be done to create new dialogues from existing material from the same voice actors.
41:42 Okay, you can't convince me that this isn't a reference to a Japanese pro-wrestler called Evil. "Welcome to my darkness world" and "Everything is Evil" are both literally his catchphrases.
With Sora: Noob: Return to the Darkness, Keybearer. Sora: I'd rather free you with the Light. Noob: You will fail, child. Noob: Where is your kingdom, Princeling? Sora: What are you talking about? Noob: It swims in Darkness, like your world. Noob: I have no Heart to unlock. Sora: Then all I have to do is destroy you. Noob: You will destroy yourself trying. Sora: You don't have to drown, you know? Noob: I Command the Shadows, child. Sora: Not for long. Trust me. Sora: I've met Heartless funnier than you. Bi-Han: Your smile is all you have, Keybearer. Sora: No, I also have friends. Sora: My power isn't mine alone. Noob: But you are its central node, child. Sora: I'm not Kingdom Hearts, ghost. Noob: Take me to Kingdom Hearts. Sora: Why? So you can taint it for yourself? Noob: The shadows will not be denied. Noob: You lose and reclaim all, only to lose again. Sora: What's your point, Heartless? Noob: That losing forever is a mercy for you.
