They did a good job on the cutscenes; the voice acting, animation, all of it, it's like watching a movie

This scene is amazing, at first you expect he's just talking about mk9 then BOOM, it hits you with that amazing cutscene.

This was my favorite scene out of the game. The cyclic transition of the timelines, the music, the build-up, the rage, the Chosen One against the Lightning God. Again, and again, and again, and... *no more.*

Technically speaking, on terms of lore, this basically confirms that the alternate kostumes/kolors in MK11 that you can unlock are essentially of outfits from alternate universes. That's actually extremely interesting. Let that sink in for a moment.

At 2:13 if you think about it, there's scary implications to this. This implies that alternate costumes that we can choose for the characters can represent different timelines that Kronika has tossed in her drive to make the ultimate timeline. That means the many alternate endings of the previous installments could be canon in a timeline at one point or another. My God that's galaxy level storytelling that shouldn't be humanly possible but holy shit did they pull it off

Armaggedon was not a unique event. MK9 was the point of no return. Now I understand! Kronika, thou wants to erase good-guy-Raiden, in fact, wants to prevent every single Armageddon in the long run. Just I was suspecting in the first trailer where Kronika was revealed, Raiden time and time again is the key to Armageddon. Taven, Dagon and Blaze were created to stop it in the last iteration. But Shao Khan prevented this to happen and so everything went to shit yet again! Then MK9 happened, what it shouldn't and then the Elder Gods got tired of everything and told the Titan Kronika to erase everything.

During the fighting scene of Liu Kang and Raiden. It reminds me the Uchiha's strongest donjutsu :Izanami.

I think the key factor is Raiden sending his message from Armageddon to MK9, because the version of Raiden we see here is also the one who kept having the visions. That's what gives him the realization that him vs. Liu Kang is predestined, and later on knowing that Revenant Liu Kang is also the one he was supposed to kill is what gives Raiden the drive to save and merge with him. Kronika seems to have never planned for a scenario where Raiden altered his own timeline like that and actually grew, which is why it works here. She's extremely powerful but not omniscient.

I won't lie I love the vioced acting in this game then in the other's

Dark Raiden emerged for the first time because when he go kamikaze on Onaga, the corrupted energies of the destroyed fortress of the Dragon King changed him. He got more enraged when he learned Shujinko was the one to blame for Onaga collecting the Kamidogus, which started Dark Raiden's path on complete anti-hero path to preserve Earthrealm by any means necessary, even reanimating the corpse of Liu Kang. Then MKX happened, Raiden was badly beaten, and Jinsei was corrupted by Shinnok. Cassie beat Shinnok, then Raiden had himself tossed to the Jinsei to cleanse it but instead, he absorbed the corruption becoming Dark Raiden that's fed up of everyone trying to bully Earthrealm. And now, here in MK11, the old Scorpion came to Raiden to relay the message of the MKX Scorpion. Then Raiden suddenly became upset about it and became Dark Raiden? Kinda lame writing. (I like the Raiden vs Liu Kang across all timelines tho.. It also shown that he fought his zombified Liu Kang in Armageddon. Maybe Spirit Liu Kang returned to his body to slap some sense into Dark Raiden. When Liu Kang was defeated, Raiden regretted his dark actions and fight Shao Khan until the very end)
