In the context of her being one of the many wives of Goro, who was in a male dominated tribe, that participated in their tournament and rose to the top it’s not really as bad as people are making out to be, I think they intended for her to be arrogant because of her accomplishments.

Look up the definition of tokenism. This is what nether realm has devolved to. I don’t even play mk11 and this pisses me off. People in the comments keep saying to not turn this into a political war, but these SJWs lost the war a long time ago when they tried to empower women by depowering the men. Plus, Sheva doesn’t seem like an interesting characters make up for it. Goro was a classic boss in the original and even one seemed to like his inclusion in mk x, but idk. Depowering men to empower women defeats the whole purpose. In 20 years, the media will be so inflated with strong, masculine women that someone is gonna make a strong male protagonist to counter it, but that would be “sexist”. You just can’t win with these people.

What's funny is that it doesn't take strength to birth a child, it takes durability. If they were as strong as they claim to be, then it would be an easy push. But men have also gone through hell and back that could be considered worst than child birth. Also, i really don't think this was part of her original character. What's even more funny is that they say she is racist, not sexist Edit: i think it should be stated that if you really think about it, it's to get rid of sexism towards females, not for gender equality, but that makes males and females equal. One problem though: they already are. It's just people's opinions which isn't illegal and to try and silence them is technically illegal, for we live in a land of free speech.
