I really like Mortal Kombat 2 for Genesis, even more than the SNES one, even if SNES one looks more to the Arcade Version. I just Find Genesis MKII more enjoyable.

I remember when I was little, my sister was playing this game and when Liu Kang did his Dragon fatality, I hid behind the couch in shock after he bit off Mileena's upper body. My sister asked "You okay?" and I nodded. 🤣
Genesis aka Mega Drive version of Mortal Kombat 2 has an advantage about Liu Kang when you play as Liu Kang you can do bicycle kick by pressing light kick button more than one time and rapidly when you get hit by your opponent i tried this years ago you can do too i wish this was possible in Arcade Version of Mortal Kombat 2
the best Mortal Kombat game actually went 2 Super Nintendo it had better graphics better sound and better presentation gameplay goes Super Nintendo with the d-pad it's much easier dance from what I've seen because I'm a console Wars nerd I could be wrong I'm just saying that's what I've seen I don't get angry I just studied stuff

Well man i mean we are talking about pre play station days here. I think that's the charm of these old games on their original formats. It's kinda like carborated engines vs fuel injection engines.
Except for three stages, all the soundtracks, including "choose your fighter" and the fighter tower show, were ported incorrectly. and too many missed sound effects..
