There is a simple reason fot that - I'm playing via keyboard and Acid pool fatality just doesnt work this way - keeping LP and LK pressed down is too much for the keyboard. In terms of Sub-Zero.. well thats kind of a glitch I'm exploiting here....
Sub Zero fighting Kintaro. To me is the best part of this video. But from a player's perspective This Kintaro was nothing nice, especially on hard when he's jumping around all over the place. Best MK ever. 2.
I love how the crowd cheers whenever Kintaro lands a strike. It's psychologically disturbing, like all these people have been brainwashed to cheer for their own oppressor.
That was a heartbreaker against Kintaro the first time in the second round. I was sure you were going to win it and maybe earn a Flawless, and then he came out of nowhere to win the match. Just goes to show what a tough boss the four-armed tiger is.
I love how the audio actually sounds like it's coming from an arcade cabinet. I guess they would have EQ'd the sounds specifically for arcade cabinet speakers when they mastered them originally?
Favorite move off MK II- Back flip in the air, spinning back hook kick (like 3:55-3:56). I HATED Kintaro because of his unblock-able throw. He would throw your ass around like a NFL quarterback throws a football in a season game. You had to wait for his to counter attack or show off before you could attack him. Many nostalgic moments of irratation, anger, and yelling "Are you *&^%ing serious?!!" at the television XD
Heartbreaking loss to Kintaro especially the first time in the second round. Just goes to show what a tough boss the four armed tiger is. That's why he's my all-time favorite MK boss.
Kintaro is scary as motherfucker, even more dangerous than Shao. Im afraid of Kintaro, i prefer Goro, hes not that scary. There even was a minotaurus or centaur but I dont remember his name, he is insane too
Cheap n' easy way to beat Kintaro with Sub Zero... Get him in the corner and freeze him. make sure he's backed all the way in the corner. then just hit em with low punches. he won't be able to move
The thing I never liked about the fatalities is that they don't really have much of a place in the canonical storyline. I mean, scorpion killing the original Sub-Zero works but that's about it.
How are you so good? The AI just cheeses me and blocks everything (I'm playing on the Arcade Kollection version, even Very Easy doesn't change a thing).
LoL, a person doesn't really need to do it at all in order to do a fatality, its just their because it looks cool. Like Agent Smith said: "Without purpose!", but it does look cool, literally cool :)
