Ironic part is the first game was originally intended to be a Van Damme game. They wanted to make him the main character but couldn't get him on board so they retooled the game and turned him into Johnny Cage. Then when the 95' movie rolled around they wanted to cast him as Cage but he turned it down because he didn't want to be in a video game movie then turned around and played Guile in Street Fighter. Would be funny if there is an after credits scene where he does show up as Cage. Maybe third time is the charm?
