In MK3 Komplete you have to perform a mercy in round 3 in order to do an animality. A lot of the animalities in the MUGENS have changed: The ones that are different are Jax & Stryker swapped animalities, Kano has the vulture like Baraka in Trilogy, Sonya has Kung Lao's cheetah, Smoke has Sonya's eagle, Cyrax turns into a bat that carries you off the screen, and Sheeva has Kano's tarantula.
I honestly don't get how they could make something this amazing but can't make properly rotating levels. I wish someone who worked on these Mugens would comment and tell us why that is.
Random stage rotation issues are caused by the MUGEN engine itself, and not as a result of any mistakes made by the creators/editors. (I have experiences working with various versions of the MUGEN engines, starting from WinMUGEN through MUGEN 1.0 up until MUGEN 1.1, over a period spanning fourteen years now.)
Weird how they use the wrong track in the Balcony stage. Luckily you can change it in the stages file, that's one of the coolest thing about the MUGENS, you can use whatever music you want in a stage. Hell you could use Cotton Eye Joe in the PIt3 if you wanted to!
2:20. Just the optics of the fatalitie look cool. Like he shot him in the air. Also, the taser fatalitie remained me of Syphon Filter from the Ps1 lol. God I'm getting old.
Also, to do Animality (I dunno if they changed the requirements in this one): get to the third round(you lose a round then they lose a round), then do the Mercy when you win the third round. Beat them again, and THEN you can do the Animality
Stryker always felt like such a random character in MK3, never really fitting in with the look / style of what you expect. But he's lasted even now to MK: New, and he's very entertaining and keeps things "real" with his moves. Can't beat a bit of MK police brutality, especially with that new arsenal! Ever entertaining - WELL DONE! 👊
Over the last year since I started playing WAY more I’ve noticed that Stryker is actually one of the best characters in the game, in my opinion anyways and in these Mugens they’ve really beefed him up. Thanks for another great comment Gel 👊🏼
Sorry but how is the portal pit fatality a fatality? You only see Sonya go into the portal, we never see her die. For all we know she could have went to the ass dimension from Rick and Morty.
Curious if you intend to up the difficulty on any these playthroughs to give yourself more of a tough challenge? I can understand too though just wanting to showcase the games and play on the easier modes. :) I love either style.
You can’t play this version in particular for IPAD however if you check out WebRcade you’ll see you can play several arcade games and home console games on the IOS operating systems.
Ohhhh so you need to hold up after an uppercut to transition to the next floor!!! Now i see. Thats why it prob didnt work in the other video with bank level
Which stage your referring too. Only one I'm aware of is the bank stage, uppercut don't send them to the upper portion roof for some reason. Disappointing a smidgen. Hopefully they can update that
Am I the only one that's confused here. There are a few times in here that Stryker's gun and baton rush don't trigger damage in this run through. Is that by design or is that an oversight?
Stryker’s handgun has a certain distance that it’ll trigger damage. I think the distance is just beyond sweep. Any further and it’ll never hit. It was like that in the SNES UMK3, iirc, but I’m unsure if it’s consistent with all versions.
I share your opinion regarding Stryker's voice in MKP Revitalized 2, his trash talking becomes obnoxious and annoying. It reminds me of Johnny Cage's similar behavior in various MK MUGEN games.
