Former RU-vid channel of YourfriendNick, son of current account holder Darryl Tsung. This channel was just sitting idle for years with around 50 subs so I took it over in March 2023 and something crazy happened 3 months later in June, one of my videos went somewhat viral! This sent my sub count to over 6000 in under 3 months! I’m just a middle aged guy making videos with an iPhone who loves to play retro games including Mortal Kombat 2 in particular. I’m FAR from a pro player, infact I’m as casual of a gamer as they come, if you’re expecting to be blown away by talent and skill then you’ve come to the wrong channel. However, if you’re looking for fun gameplay from a person who genuinely loves the retro games he’s playing then stick around, I’m bringing that old school vibe back! Na versão Arcade esse teste era ruim porque a barra subia muito fácil, mas no SNES era perfeito, porque era bem mais difícil de fazer a barra subir. 👍👍👍
this was such a massive improvement visually and fidelity over MK2 and MK1 on the Genesis. But the game itself is not as fun to me. just like NBA Jam and NBA Hangtime.
T.J. Combo is the only character in the series whose Finishers in the first game were better than the ones in the second game. The gun Finisher/No Mercy alone was so banal, it's ridiculous.
In what way? In the playthrough, it was a reminder that Shao Kahn's laugh, Kitana's fan lift & air punch sounds, Reptile's acid & force ball sounds, Sub-Zero's ice sound, Johnny Cage's green ball sound, Jax's energy wave sound & Kintaro's loud roar are present in SNES & not on 32X. You'd think that with 8 more megabits of memory than the SNES version, Probe could've got those in there. The trees even make noise on SNES & not 32X & Kahn has a couple extra taunts than 32X. 32X does have a couple extra yells the SNES doesn't though. Backgrounds are a bit better on SNES & the characters have better resolution on 32X. SNES has the ending pics & 32X has the intro screens. Both versions play great. Doesn't compare? Quite an overstatement. If you could put the best elements of each game together, you'd have as perfect a version as non-CD systems could do.
I remember playing this while my Dad was in the other room years ago. I was using Johnny Cage against Liu Kang, and hit him with the punch to the balls. He heard it, came to see what I was playing, saw me do it again, and laughed so hard at it. 😂
Hey brother I love to see the versions u grew up with playing the crap out of them....I do bet you were a proud boy just to have this in your home. I remember having the megadrive versions even for we were poor I felt like a king to have them in our home....showing off these games to my friends were amazing. I use to read a lot of the arcade story's so that when you play in the Arcades not only to feel the game but the hole mortal kombat story came to life....yea they bug it up a bit on the last versions story wise and were really getting silly with it but hey those were the golden mortal kombat years...Keep it up brother..👊

Fighting games like this makes high scores pointless you get that high score bonus big deal high score never important to me games like this all people care about fight go home
What model is your other snes? Did it just stop powering on? Maybe I could fix it I mod retro consoles. Also, I may have some extra av cables I had a bunch at one point
As for the cables I didn’t realize I can use the N64 cable with the SNES so it’s all good. As for the system it powers on but I can’t get a picture for the life of me. There’s places around where I live that I can get it fixed if I want, I appreciate the offer though 👊🏼
