I used to play mortal Kombat 4 with my family and friends I used to get mad when one of my family win but you know what I don't get mad about that no more I fine with it
It's tool-assisted. It's a seamless recording with savestates strung together which only includes the best possible outcomes they could get. I'm guessing hundreds of states were used.
Man i miss Midway and Konomi. Waking up playing MK4 and Contra Hard Corps with a big ass bowl of coco puffs after watching Saturday morning cartoons was a routine.
Oh my God my favorite Mortal Kombat! As really young kid (~7 years old) I remember one of my older brothers borrowing N64 from his friend for a few months with MK4, Goldeneye and other amazing games. While having three older, teenage/adult brothers (15, 19 and 21, me being the youngest of all four) wasn't helping matters of getting some playtime, when I already got some, I fucking juiced it to the last drop. After one month or so I used to know ALL the fatalities and be able to execute them 8-9 TIMES OUT OF 10 by ANY CHARACTER on ANY STAGE (I remember some stage-unique fatalities like throwing opponents into some fan blades) I was really... mediocre fighter (over-excited 7 year old boy playing Mortal Kombat, what to expect?), teased and taunted by older bro's, but when I managed to win, oh man the punishment was sweet and ruthless :P Bros seemed to know some few finishers but they lacked proper/fast enough execution, which I managed to master to certain degree When bros were playing against CPU on Ultimate difficulty or against each other, most of the time the winner passed controller to me for this sweet sweet fatality to hype the shit up in the house :D Those were simple, happy days, sadly long gone
Man... 20 years from now kids will have a childhood with the newest Mortal Kombat out while we had games like this which would be more than 30 years old.
Salvo Sanfilippo Actually, he kinda does. John Tobias left the MK team (due to his departure from Midway) durning development of Mortal Kombat: Special Forces, which a lot of people seem to use as an excuse to hate any newer MK game (MK4 seems to be hated because of this reason, despite it being directed by him). But you're right, Ernesto might be one of those people salty about the 3D era. Though, he never excluded MK9 and MKX from being "MKs for retards", despite them returning the franchise to it's 2D traditions.
this used to my game here mortal Kombat 4 all of my family used play this game I used to get mad when people beat me in mortal Kombat 4 but now I let them beat me at this game I fine with it my favorite player is kung Luo
Is everyone going to ignore the fact that whoever is playing is really good. I'm not the best by any means but I have never gotten past a double flawless victory as far as I can remember.
This game was understandably underrated because it faqing followed the Kahn saga(MK2,3 and ULTIMATE MK...MK3&ULTIMATE, I count'em as two stories happening in nearly the same time).
I never quite liked MK4 but now I'm starting to appreciate it more, it's like a better MK3 but in 3D. Also that second stage always scared me when I was a kid, dunno why.
People who really know this game, actually know that difficulty in options dont matter, only the columns. And there is a bug that the second column (Beginner) is the most difficult. Its an actual bug.
Me and my friend used to play in cyber cafe for 5rs per half an hour, we used to memorize the keystrokes for all players in class hours, man how far life went now, I am 28 now 😭😭
That's because the first 3 games ( excluding Mortal Kombat Trilogy & Mythologies Sub-Zero ) used real life actors, while MK4 used an entirely new engine, which still holds up pretty good on the Arcade Version of MK4.
@@JumugiDesunra yes, but all the 3d of the game, was scripted, and the players were not able to move any other direction than forward and bacwards, so at the end, this 3d, was kinda fake, in my opinion, this MK4, is the worse ever...
Enrico Mazzarello Midway ( Netherrealm Studios ) was still new to the 3D genre, but as they grew, so did the quality & quantity of the games. Deadly Alliance, Deception ( best MK game to come out of the 3D Era ) & Armageddon all sit at a rating of 8 or higher.
Dumb question. If Quan Chi has the power to send some to hell, you'd think he'd also have the power to escape it? I mean if he can't escape that seems like a pretty big draw back of his powers.
