everytime my buddy and I played each other in this level, we would dance our characters back and forth during the caribbean music and when it thundered we would actually fight.....god i miss this game
This stage had me in allured the 1st time i played Deception. It was like oh happy, cheerful, goofy music for a deathmatch, until the stage changed and that's when i wanted off this stage before those snakes bites my head off. This stage is the definition of Dark Humor, it's funny until the dark drums or electric guitar kicks in.
If you can time it right, when you knock someone into the water as it changes to the sunny stage the poor sod will be eaten by Clownfish instead of Piranhas.
I miss how dark the old games used to be... its like these bew games have bloody fatalities, but the feels just arent there. Mainly the story and the music to me.... what do you think? Im 13 and i grew up on mk da and the krypt and screams and stuff was just so good. I remember grinding for months with my sister. We need a remaster of the 3d games and they better not have trash microtransactions either...
I always right shao Kahn or goro here😂😂 its funny because they're such intimidating characters but the paradise music in the beginning makes them look like a joke😂😂

Never played Deception, but this is already top 10 best stages in the franchise. It’s so out of place for Mortal Kombat which makes it funny, and it’s just a genuinely a good stage. Reminds me a lot of Wuhu Island from Wii Sports Resort. Please Netherrealm add this to MK1!
