Outside of clips, I've only watched the Cyrax and Sektor one and it was fine in my opinion. The fight at the end is probably the best part of the series

That’s almost an insult to Stryker’s Armageddon design. At least Stryker in that game looked cool, especially with the added swords on the back and the tonfa. Sub Zero in legacy 2 just looks stupid with that padded body armor. They took the “realism” aspect too far. He looks more like some discount wannabe superhero than a badass ninja. And it doesn’t help that the mask he’s wearing also sucks.

Its just a cheap ass motorcycle armor… season 2 truly made me dislike the whole thing and I thought in season 1 it was a decent start…

@@gregorioalcantara8544 except for the fact that outside of their conversation that's never really firmly established. In season 1 everyone seems to be gathering for the first tournament. Although it's slightly difficult to keep track of the timeline with all the time jumps. Sub-Zero and Scorpion are being manipulated into their roles. Johnny Cage is being approached by Shang tsung to join a tournament. Raiden is just now getting to Earth. The Start of the tournament happened before season 1? In between seasons 1 and 2? During season 1 but in an episode we never saw? The show never actually conveys any of that information. The show's narrative is all over the place. And even if you organize it chronologically, so much goes on explained and unseen. And there are plot points that just don't add up. Did Liu run away before his first tournament? Then meet his girlfriend? When she died? And then he joined the first tournament? Did he run away, then join up with the tournament anyway? Then kill Shang son of the tournament? Then meet his girlfriend? Or did he participate in the first tournament, killing Shang tsung? Then run away from his responsibilities for the next tournament? Meet his girlfriend and she died and now he's being approached by Samsung and Kung Lao to participate in this next tournament? I don't recall the show ever explaining any of this in any detail. The timeline and narrative is all very vague.

Bi-Han was incredibly evil but he was a victim of being framed by Quan Chi for something that he actually didn’t do, but he didn’t care enough to clear his name. It took his brother Quai liang (the current sub zero) to reason with scorpion and get him to understand that it was all a misunderstanding. The current sub zero is not evil like Bi Han

MK: Shaolin Monks has overridden Kung Lao's characters in a lot of people's memories. Which is a shame because I rather have og Kung Lao than new arrogant Kung Lao.

@@otro9690 95 movie has memorable scenography, music, talented guys like Robin Shou, Lambert cheesing his role to the max etc.. 2021 is crap with weak fights and choreography, arcane bs, Goro dies like a bitch killed by boring schmuck who should not even be here. Only Hiroyuki Sanada and Joe Taslim are worth anything in this crap movie.

The First Episode Was Fantastic

MK Sub-Zero Mythologies shows that both clans were hired by Quan Chi (and Shinnok). Both Hanzo and Sub-Zero (Bi-Han) meet and Hanzo dies. Lin Kuei's payment for succeeding was Hanzo's clan wiped out. Bi-Han himself isn't meant to be pure evil. More of a grey or anti-hero. He's just ruthless and supposed to be the best assassin/fighter in his clan. He even defeats Scorpion again in mythologies. Scorpion in the original time line (MK2) thinks Sub-Zero is back but figures out this isn't the same guy (this one shows mercy but also a worse fighter) and does not kill him as his revenge was only against the original Sub-Zero. If I remember correctly, Sub-Zero in MK1 was originally hired to kill Shang Tsung, but this was retconned in MK:SZM ending to the Lin Kuei being hired by Shang Tsung to fight for outworld.

@@sycorez I'm well aware of all that. I've been playing the games since they first came out and have been a massive Scorpion / MK / lore fan since Deadly Alliance. Scorpion and Bi Han's rivalry is legendary and yet Legacy and other adaptions that are inspired by it (like Scorpion's Revenge) spit in the face of that rivalry. I don't want that shit bleeding over into the games!

Uhh no, you only get eternal life if you're the WINNER of the tournament. Liu Kang won the first tournament by killing Shang Tsung (which was mentioned in the episode where Shang recruits Liu) so he has eternal life, that wouldn't have been granted to GKL. This KL is the one we know
