Honestly just learn how all the moves work for one street fighter character and you already know how to play basically any capcom or arcsys fighter + skullgirls and any other game that uses that control scheme
What? Ok, i watched the first episode of Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, and i can assure you that Brown's character in that show, Otto, has similarities to Krabs in his voice.
Hey, speaking of adult cartoons, anyone remember Ugly Americans? That show was ahead of its time for a show that aired after new episodes of Futurama and South Park 200/201 in the early 2010s on Comedy Central. Why? Because of a portion of Netflix’s original animated content is like that with Bojack Horseman and etc. Ugly Americans should be one of those underrated adult cartoons that gets talked about a lot like The Critic, Duckman, and Clone High.
I was watching reruns at midnight , and I got to admit it's legitimately a pretty good show , I wouldn't mind if it did come back on something like Netflix.
I love ugly Americans. It's like a beautiful mix of the art style of super jail with the laid back nature of Bojack horseman, and the weird and unpredictable world of regular show.
The 80s: Where animation's purpose was to sell toys to children instead of treating it as an art form. Good thing we still have Transformers, Thundercats, He-Man, and any other good cartoons based on toy lines.
You mean the 80s, I remember watching and loving the Robocop cartoon and one day I was "wait, there is a movie?!" and the rest is history... a nice trauma for a 5 year old.
Well... Ed Boon was very clear he we wouldn't see Scooby Doo characters in Mortal Kombat. But Scooby Doo had a Supernatural crossover so I wouldn't say it's impossible. Revenge of Scorpion opens with Scorpion pulling Daffy Duck into the Netherrealm. Maybe we'll get the Scooby Gang unmasking Scorpion.
You know what, you're right. Female characters in cartoon groups are usually the "No fun allowed" character. Here it's that cop guy striker that fits that. Dayum this show broke new grounds.
The indirect crossover term you’re looking for is “Red Skies Crossover” (at least that’s what TV Tropes named it). To quote the page: “When a comic slaps a big, visible "Crisis Crossover" logo on the cover, but has only a token Shout-Out to the Big Event that only peripherally affects the plot of the issue in question, that's a Red Skies Crossover. In some cases, the extent of the crossover is as nothing more than a Continuity Nod. The name's taken from the original Crisis Crossover, Crisis on Infinite Earths. Almost every comic in The DCU was involved, but in many cases, the "involvement" was just characters looking up and wondering why the skies were red before moving on with whatever they were actually doing.”
Naw, this is more of a 'Cross Through'. A 'Red Skies' is more of a glorified cameo, while a 'Cross Through' actually affects the plot. While the guest character for this Cross Through only has a cameo, the ARTIFACT he was after is the center of that episode's plot, so it counts.
@@allendepacheco3419there was a cancelled mortal kombat kids show when that guy commented that got revealed to be cancelled, pan was a character designer for the show crazy enough
@@derelict007 I saw a video talking about lost media from Mortal Kombat. It mentioned MK Ultra Girls, and I was laughing maniacally after discovering Pan was the character designer for the show. It feels so weird how close we are to having another MK kid show, and now I want to see the unreleased episodes or at least any more info about this show.
With the way their DC Animated Films end their universe, we're gonna get a new MK universe in the same vein... Except with more permanent deaths, since som kombatants died HARD in that movie!
Do you know how many times daffy duck been shot up, blow up, cut up falling off cliff? Scorpion is a child compare to daddy duck. Daffy was a badass before being a badass was cool.
Fox kids: Lets Make an MK SHOW!!! Boon-Tobias: YEAAAAAHHH Fox kids: It would be a kids cartoon with no Gore!!!! Boon-Tobias: YE wait wha Fox kids: KOMBAT TIME!!!!
Imagine if Cartoon Cartoon Fridays back in the day was just one giant fighting tournament for cartoons and the winners would fight the winners from Adult Swim and Toonami while the commentary was done by the Miguzi crew
I desperately want to believe that Pan went to the Disneyland parking structure just to get that asteticly pleasing bumper shot. I know he probably got it on a trip to the actual park, or pulled it from a free use source; but I can totally see Pan making a trip to SoCal and stopping just for a shot.
1:46 History was actually my favorite class in high school and I think it is important to remember our past mistakes. I loved learning about ancient civilizations and stuff, I admit learning about actual politics can be kind of grading though. For example, I barely remember anybody who passed X law, I just remember what X law was about and how it effected things and when it was and if needed, I can Google who made X law. For example, I don't remember who was behind prohibition off the top of my head but I know the era it was from, what it was about and how it effected things. History is at least more useful than any math taught after middle school though. I don't know anybody who actually used that stuff apart from people who became teachers and engineers which is only a small percentage of people and those people could just take non-required math classes if they want to do that stuff.
God I’m so bad at fighting games but I’ll be damned if I don’t practice EVO level combos to only learn 3% of it then get bodied by BootyMuncher69 using a lan cable connection.
Hasbro did released MK based action figures with vehicles before The Journey Begins and DOTR, around that same time though it also released Street Fighter 2 based figures and vehicles under the G.I. Joe toyline
In that Interview with Ed Boon saying there wouldn't be a major dip in sales because a MK game didn't have fatalities.....what I wouldn't give for someone to show up on screen and show a graph of how poorly MK vs DC sold for that exact reason and drive that point home to his face.
Knowing Mortal Kombat lore doesn't give you some freaking brownie points it gives you a token for you to die in a war of people Trying to decide WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS CANON OR NOT
All I needed to buy Scorpion's Revenge was to see Patrick Seitz in the voice cast. Getting to see and hear a more bloody version of Ragna The Bloodedge is all I could have asked for.
@RebelTaxi Funny you mentioned that you hope they make more family friendly MK cartoons, even making a valid arguement for it; Todd MacFarlane is actually in the works of producing two animated spawn projects, one for adults and another for kids. So if even Spawn can zig-zag from kiddy to adult entertainment, as well as DC, why not MK?
I'm surprised USA didn't make adult animation given that they used to be a huge thing with the Cartoon Express back then. Maybe one day that can happen one day.
I honestly expect a kid's cartoon for Friday the 13th, but no gore, sex or nudity have Jason go into a shower and everyone is fully clothed, then have him cleave and stab the kids, but it looks like he's smacking them, and of course no blood. Plus it should have those 'Knowing is half the battle' segments with Jason telling the teens to not do drugs.
I'm still beyond confused as to why they made the game that helped start the ratings system into a kids cartoon full of them whacky puns. Could you imagine if it had quality in a series now though? Like with guests like Spawn? (And cutting major characters for maybe dlc and crunch time)
Steam also kinda did that crossover thing in video game form by having a big sale with games that had parts in them that referenced potatos to hype up Portal 2
My only problem with history is that it's so easy to rewrite and butcher that it starts to lose all meaning. Today's terribly reported journalism is tomorrow's historical fact.
@@kostajovanovic3711 I just heard it on this youtube page that looks at internet thingies. Said Ender was "Jealous of panpizza". Turns out it was just a word by word reading on an article on encyclopediadramatica.
People need to stop with the Pan Vs. Enter narrative, neither care much about the other. Not in a competitive or hateful way, they just don’t want to be involved with each other. Mr. Enter may not make content that we like, but he’s such an easy target and has fallen in popularity so much that coming after him is basically bullying
I was trying to think of what the bad 2d/3dcgi Mortal Kombat cartoon reminded me of and then it hit me. I think it's the same people who made "Snow White and the Seven Clever Boys".
