You know as much as i like Kung Jin and his tragic backstory of the loss of his cousin Kung lao he really should have stood no chance against Kotal especially since Kotal single handidly beat Tanya, Kano and even freaking Mileena (the flesh pit bred princess enhanced with tarkatan blood giving immense speed, agility and strength far greater than a shokan) and Rain (the half-god son of the most powerful edenian god Argus) during the assassination attempt.

A legendary series was born.

In Kk defense, Kotal has defeated Goro and Goro's father in the comics. In the game chapter Kk fought off a surprise attack and won Kano, later defeated Rain and Mileena. He took on the power blast of the Amulet of shinnok fired by Mileena and dust it off which the bounced off power killed his men. Kung Jin is from Great Kung Lao's line so the defeat is that big and also needed for plot purposes.

kk is still op as fuk when it comes to combos. 58% combo is ridiculous

KK and his army may have lost to 4 teens but you forget one thing. The power being a named character gives you. He also had not unlocked the power of his wheelchair yet.

Just to add onto this, Kotal ends up doing exactly what Mileena had planned to do as Kahnum. So basically, he just fucked up the Shinnok situation more than how it would’ve been with Mileena. To add onto this, she probably would’ve ended up killing off the heros far before they could try forming an alliance with her because she knew it was useless to have mortals on her side.

That’s what I didn’t like about mk11 Kotal Kahn went on to say that Raiden was a bad guy by taking anyone who he thought was a threat even though Kotal Kahn did all of this bs.

KK could have destroyed everyone in Earthrealm if he became KK in a wheelchair.

Of all the characters that are guaranteed fucked in Mortal Kombat XI, nobody is more so than Kotal khan. He allied with Earthrealm to get rid of Mileena, then telegraphed his full willingness to ally with the Netherrealm against Raiden. The image we're left with is that of a waffling turncoat -- someone who does his best to ACT tough, but cannot command any kind of authority except by having someone else command it on his behalf. The only reason he was allowed to become Emperor in the first place was because he was considered a safe, stabilizing influence, or at least more so than Mileena or anything that could possibly come out of the Netherrealm. Now all sides know him, not as a sure thing, but as wildly unpredictable due to his penchant for switching sides whenever things start to become even remotely inconvenient for him. Earthrealm knows he can't be trusted. The Netherrealm knows he can't be trusted. And no doubt, half of his supporters in Outworld know he can't be trusted. Chances are good Reptile will gather some like-minded supporters and put someone else on Outworld's throne before the true shit hits the fan yet again.

Originaly he was suposed to be half of Deadly alliance with Havik, but with his poverhungry and tratorious nature, along with him been Control freak with complete lack of loality to anyone and anything, he is more fitting as Outworld Emperor. Also, if you want to do another Mortal Kombat sucks, do Scorpion. Hi sentenced 9 inocent people to fate worse then death, despite been told about them. And then he caused Shinnoks escape. Just for that first one, Scorpion has been forever market as: Stupid selfish asshole, Hypocryte, Traitor and Vilian (for me he was one of this game main bads - Shinnok with Quan Chi, Kotal and Mileena). Edit: I changet my mind: Kotal is dead and Mileena is Outworld Empress. Instead of Eperor, Kotal have become Mileena and Barakas lunch. And it also caused creation of one of the most popular joke in Outworld: "Do you know what the last Osh-Tekk said just before he died? "AAAGGGGHHHH!!!"

Kotal Kahn is actually Shao kahn's equal (or might be even a little more powerful but a lot more wiser). It's very sad how he was humiliated in the game. He is strong enough to get free from 4 arms hold of goro and then easily rip them off. He also has Sun power and totem power and can also turn into a jaguar. Actually nothing except elder gods and lord Raiden should be able to defeat him but he was shown losing to a child like Kung jin and that pesky insect like Dvorah. Him losing to Jade is also one of the biggest joke in mk universe.

Ferra/tor and Kotal kahn were wasted opportunities for some good beastly sub bosses like goro and kintaro for mkx, not to mention kotal kahn sucks as an actual player, his moves are clunky and hard to learn, not to mention stupid, for such a character to play a huge role in the story, he wasnt really given much tlc in the gameplay and story department
