I've met morten harket many times during his visit to London and used to come to the hotel where I used to work and i tell you, he's so laid back, philosophical human being and so lovely to speak to

It’s photographs of other people and memories that we care about. And those few who *do* like seeing photos of themselves generally have way too much self confidence (to the point of being narcissists) - not too little!
I so appreciate the fact that this is a man who knows himself very well, he does not take his fame or his looks too seriously and he has more important goals in his life than to be a celebrity.
Very deep person, intelligent, cute sense of humor, a musical superstar and role model for the young people. No wonder I've followed them since the start.
You can see towards the end his answers are getting shorter and simpler, he's had enough and just wants to GTFO. She clearly didn't have prepared questions and was mostly wasting his time.
I’m glad this fellow has survived and thrived since 1984 when I first heard him, I thought we had a Norwegian Elvis on our hands, I’m so happy to see he survived it all unlike so many who came much later. I’m glad he’s a living legend. What a character !
A class act. Yes, they set high standards. He is too funny. It would be hard to sit in the same room with him and not tell him you think he is drop dead gorgeous and talented. Of course, his confidence is not based on his looks; he's got the talent to go with it. Super grounded when so many rock stars don't have a good outcome. I can see how the interviewer was struggling to compose herself. I was just informed by my grandson that I burned something on the stove watching him.
Carianin 52 I agree entirely with you. I think he find it rather tiresome that interviewers keep talking about his good looks and sexual attractiveness rather than his sheer talent. I personally can’t understand why people want to know the intimate details of his personal relationships. It is much better to keep our illusions about our idols, sometimes too much knowledge shatters these illusions!

He's a very real and honest guy. Alot of people don't really like looking at themselves on film or camera. Even some actors have said this at interviews. They are just more interested in being in the moment than preoccupied with how it's going to look on film which I find brings out the authenticity in the expression and therefore is captured in camera. Which makes him even more attractive. I totally get where he's coming from. He just happens to be a very handsome man at the same time. 👌

I appreciate the fact that he answers to the questions in a way that he would do it with a friend in an honest conversation (at least that's the impression i get). And he takes every question seriously without getting boring, since he's getting humorous here and there, without being silly. All in all i believe that Morten is a guy you can have a good talk with and i understand that besides of his aura he has these qualities wich attract a woman - i say that as a straight guy ;-)

She is asking demeaning questions ... and questioning his answers. Mr. Harket's response is patient, and kind, and with some humor. He's stays true to himself by stating how he feels. Kudos!
This sweet lady! I think that she was just overwelmed with nerves! She clearly had a major crush on him, and, in spite of it all, I like the way she asked so many unconventional questions about all the things we would like to know, and he answered them with sweet humor, and tongue and cheek!! Brilliant! He is just so intelligent, he is just so talented, and charming in every area, and modest, too about his immense GIFTS!! I really liked the questions about the fashions, but, we really didn't get a solid answer, lol. His daughter even said, he was basically so handsome and well-dressed, etc., with form fitting sexy, attractive clothes and fashions and hair, and said he looked so good back then, in the 80's and 90's!!! and Morten even admitted that he doesn't really dress "nice", and styled like that, right now.... I wish that he still wore the fitted pants, jackets, shirts, accessories, etc., because most performers are wearing street clothes, way, too casual, now, onstage. Really miss, like his daughter, Music Bands, performers dressing up, anymore! ;-)

Morten sticht wirklich heraus, der mann hat ausstrahlung und charisma wie sie wenige haben und schon gar nicht im show business.. wirklich bewundernswert. das, was er sagt, zeugt von intelligenz, im gegensatz zur reporterin, welche tw. wirklich platte fragen gestellt und seine antworten nicht verstanden hat..und selbst in so einer situation bleibt er wunderschön gelassen, nimmt´s mit humor, bleibt höflich und und charmant.. einfach schön anzuschauen..
I have been a lifelong fan of Morten Harket, and so proud that all 3 band members were Knighted with the 1st Class of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav for their tremendous artistic achievements. As a teenager, I sang, “...And You Tell Me”, for my audition for the local Alaskan opera production of “Camelot”. “The Sun Always Shines On T.V.” was their best masterpiece, in my humble opinion. In the second half the questions are even making me feeling uncomfortable...he’s responding so polite even though those questions are inappropriate and rude. How can someone be so impolite towards such a gentle guy 🤦🏽♀️

Über die Jahren die Erfahrungen Musik etc.sometimes sie war sehr eindringlich mit personalen Fragen. wie sie haben 5 Kinder aus verschiedene Frauen geschmacklos. logisch wie er sagte 5 wäre zu viel für eine gleiche Frau. autsch! er sagtees hat sich ergeben.Punkt. Es ist egal geht uns nicht an. In the 60s the Stars machten Alles und niemand beurteilte sie. Liz Taylor 7 Mal verheiratet.Marylin M in Affäre mit der Predident ihres Landes. Rod Stewart hat 8 Kinder. Julio Iglesias 7 Kinder .Mel Gibson auch 7 Kinder. leben und leben lassen hier ging um seine Musik.Schade um seine Zeit für diese blöde Fragen die sie stellte.

This interview is excruciating! It shows how much of a gentleman Morten is to not have stopped it in its tracks. The interviewer is inept and most of the questions are inane. Perhaps because she was speaking in a language (English) which is obviously not her native tongue she didn’t ask the questions more intelligently. She was quite rude and she contradicted what he told her, it was as though she disbelieved him. He is being patently honest, but he showed he was uncomfortable at such intrusive questions.

As being in the entertainment industry has its ups and downs, AHA has survived. I've always loved the group, Morten being of interest, but I still love him and the group. Love their music. Rock on!❤
I am sure he gets quite weary of alot of the usual questions---I sense that he enjoys sharing his talents with others but as he gets older wants to give back now in other ways-- perhaps humanitarian ways? and also to explore his "self" even more than the touring route/lifestyle offers? He seems like a Soul Searcher---and will probably be still discovering and enlightening and learning throughout the rest of his life :) I love that he cares more about his "being and inner-self" than his looks :)
She needs to take some hormones...geez lady. He is much more than just a pretty face. The fact that he talks about his fans that way as being each an individual person shows the depths he has reached in his career. And being handsome...well thats just an added bonus. Well Done Morten Harket♡
I just feel a lot of sadness coming from this guy. I understand why he was talking about those things. A gentle soul. I think he wants to help others in some way.
I felt so sorry for Morten in this interview! He has always presented himself as a shy person during interviews and things and yet she asks such personal questions and then says inappropriate things to him! Terrible interviewer.
Agree, at some points he's very amused, other times he's embarrassed for her and tries to subtly deflect the worst questions. Most journalists cringe at their early interviews. I'm sure this one does

She seems totally starstruck,could be an old fan,or maybe she just didn't finish school yet she doesn't listen, just ask( mostly) shallow or straight out stupid questions...Hopefully this lady has improved as a journalist by now.
I found this journalist's lack of respect, asking personal questions and even on top of him. Morten is a kind and polite person, besides being always willing to give an interview, this woman didn't know how to take the opportunity and to ask intelligent questions only asked ridiculous questions.
