Morten is just a normal man who strikes me as deeply philosophical. He has a quirky, engaging sense of humour. There is an element of self depracation. He likes to challenge himself and is a perfectionist as far as singing is involved. He does enjoy the odd whiskey and eats healthily. He's a lovely guy and very interesting to listen to. Just love him ♥️
I like how 'present' he is whenever the interview is about something serious, he's just uninterested when it's too shallow haha. Nice to know his perspectives in this one, plus voice is so lovely to hear.
morten is that guy you could talk with about nature, philosophy and things that need to be thought of in a deep way. i think he prefers that kind of questions, but nevertheless he will always be asked: "you´re already so and so old and still look so good" sure he got used to that, but i don´t know if he really likes superficious questions like this one.
I know, He is constantly being asked about how good he looks, granted he is gorgeous but that's nothing new. He's answered those questions enough, he doesn't do anything spectacular, he takes care of himself, doesn't drink, smoke, etc. We all know that now, move on... Interviews with him are so much more interesting when they ask him real questions- about life and the world, the environment and what he thinks/feels about certain things.
Who knew that Morten is such a thinker! I had never seen an interview with him live. I always get annoyed when I karaoke "Take On Me"... there are about 2 octaves missing in my vocal range. :)
Great to see that he understands so much German. And yes, for some, especially older, people the translation into German is necessary. For others, like me, it's not. For many people here English is important at work, but not for all. But still, their English may not be perfect and they may not understand everything when it comes to such an interview.
Great interview, I'm not too sure about the hat but he looks really good here. His voice sounds a little scratchy, was he doing any touring in this time frame?
I don't know what he says in the end. Although when I play the original video at home (not youtube) it's two seconds longer I don't know why it's shorter on youtube but nevertheless you can't hear what Morten says as it's cut off by the trailer of the show.
This hasn't anything to do with the war. It's just that people over 50 or 60 never learned English properly in school and so they usually translate everything on TV so that everybody can understand.
Normal na Alemanha só falam Alemão, até na TV eles não ouvem inglês ; francês; espanhol ; nem nenhum outro idioma porque é tudo dublado para alemão simplesmente desabituam - se de ouvir e praticar outra língua
I think morten must have been through psychological analysis..he seems that he was affected much by fame...they way he talks about it shows that he has analyzed it..the psychological impact of fame or sudden fame to him and generally.
He was always quite different to most. A deep thinker. I remember at their height of fame he would talk about his love for Orchid flowers (he has his own orchid garden). He's an anomaly and very handsome ;). Not many like him.
I wish interviewers wouldn’t dumb down the questions and talk about old things so much. He dated the girl in the video for three months in 1985, not necessary to bring it up.
Morten is a cool man, but a poser too. Nobody has a sixpack like him ( here not shown) in age 52 , today 54 just because no smoking. Of course there is a lot of Age-keeping as like what you eat, Sports and Lifestyle in Nature, mental health and good DNA. All other is lie. Sorry, but I Know what about talking. .Next Year 50 Years .
This was the most weird interview i've ever seen, the guy holding the interview is so overexcited and stressed. Question to germans, do he really need to translate everything for the people watching the program understand?
Quatsch! What you're saying is really silly. LOTS of people speak English in Germany..but they always translate everything on TV :P Ps: I live in Germany! .... Get over the war and all those things..... Germany is a great GREAT country that is really doing a lot to integrate everybody in this multicultural society. Get some information before saying silly things like that.....
