Loved series one, and now series two! Funny and relaxing at the same time. Funny like it was in the olden days! Love it!!! Loved the irish bit during the cpr bit.
Met Paul Whitehouse in Islington today; really nice bloke who was good enough to do some impersonations while we had a conversation about football. Decent of him to speak to me seeing I am an Arsenal fan and he follows Tottenham!
Great to see fishing on BBC as a positive mention . Angling has done lots for the UK ecology . Stop falling over Bob but stick in and relax . Whitehouse you legend . Well done lads more please .
Just watched their fishing program tonite from Cornwall. It's the best program I've seen on TV for a very long time. The whole series is absolutely brilliant. Bob is a genius. Wonderful program . Great double act.
The subtitles are hilarious. Half way through I started noticing the errors. Whoever or whatever is doing it can't cope with their accents. Ceti for settee, bokkers for both of us, ill-fated shoes for ill-fitted shoes, I like do it first kiss, for I liked 'who was your first kiss?', I miss the fish for I missed the fish (meaning he missed catching it), in charge of the applicator, for in charge of the catering, folding Korean for food you created, Map for Matt, it's not totally hot for it's not totally heart healthy. You've got this in a bowl for you've got this in a book. That go alongside the sea for that go alongside the series. Tamar and Whitehouse for Mortimer and Whitehouse. 1 0'clock for 8 o'clock. I'm compiling doing you good for you can feel it doing you good.
why it took them so long to get fishing back on terrestrial tv is beyone me these two work brilliant together , throw in fishing its just great viewing , should have had a guest on each ep imagine vic reeves on lmao be brilliant watching that
Does anyone know what the song was at the end of episode 3 series 2 , it was played as a tribute to the old guy “ John “ who was diagnosed with cancer 2 weeks after catching his biggest salmon whilst fishing in Scotland and then died sometime after talking to Bob Mortimer . Some of the lyrics were :- “ the air that you breathe will still be there after you’ve gone “ . It was a very poignant song , would love to be able to get hold of a copy / download it . Appreciate it if anyone can let me know . Thanks .
Love Bob and Paul. Always loved matt 'beaker; baker. I do like Stacey Dooley and her stuff but not sure this is the correct vehicle for her. But she's a clever and wholesome lass so I'm sure she can shape herself.
