Nobody in the U.K. would share these skills. glad the US dollar is strong, it should be, because of great American teachers like in this video. Very Well Done To You And Your Company.

I’m afraid that if I don’t share, that these skills will just disappear. Over here the corporations are so strong that they basically decide what happens here. If they decide that they want the trades to die off because of planned obsolescence and making the artisan irrelevant, then that’s what they are going to try to do. It’s easy to see that they are succeeding in many ways. This is my way of fighting back against corporate greed. Craft over Corporate!

Can you please provide the dimensions of the muntins before you start profiling?

In one of your videos you milled your blanks 1/8-1/4 inch wide in case they “sprung” out or square. Would you recommend that as standard practice when using Accoya? Also can you get to 1 3/8 thick using 6/4 Accoya or do you start with a thicker board?

Not with Accoya. Accoya is so stable that, with a piece of 6/4, I’d joint the flat side once along with each edge, plane it a couple of passes through the planer to 1-3/8 then rip it to finished width on the table saw. Accoya was by far the most user friendly wood to mill. Now to finish, that’s another story.
