This is from a family concert they used to put on every year. The great Thomas A. Whitfiled used to write songs and the Morton family would sing them before he recorded them. This is footage from New Orleans (circa early 80's).
Sitting here in my home in the Philippines listening to Pharaoh Sanders when the song "THINK ABOUT THE WORLD" (Pharaoh Sanders) comes on and Gwen Morton popped into my mind! It sure sounds like a Gwen Morton! I just wondered if she ever did secular. But anyway have not heard from her in years so I goggled and glad I found this!
