This was very helpful, I am a full time cosmetologist , my specialty is hair and I’m not really into makeup but I can apply it well. I’m going to do my granny hair and makeup and I’ve been preparing myself and I found you. Thank you for your helpful advice and tips. God Bless you!!!
I just got asked to do my best friend and chosen sisters makeup - I don’t think I can comprehend how hard this is going to be. But I will try to take your advice and get through this for her
I am so glad I ran across your page. I am a licensed nail tec and a licensed Cosmetologist. I have always been interested in mortuary Science. Planning to start school in January. I need to talk to someone in the field.
Are the stippling brushes something I can get from art store and if so what brand? Is using living makeup foundation okay? Or should I used makeup made for them ? I’m gonna do my sisters glam and nails for the last time. And I know she’s gonna be so happy. I just want the best for her.
This was helpful btw, like Nicky tutorials or j☆... thanks thankfully I have time ! My sister asked while she's doing chemo. Hopefully it wks and I have 4yrs and not 4 wks
Thank you. Sending my love to you and your sister. Let hope she has longevity while going through treatment and recovers completely so you won’t have to worry about doing her makeup for a long time 🫶🏼
Product choices!? Sister has end stage CAncer, I need to do her make up. Should I use a special product for primer and the foundation. And setting spray curious what is preferred
I don’t have a specific primer or setting spray because I use multiple products but I would recommend using these products especially if chemo discolored her skin. I would start in a small area to see how well the coverage is before applying to the whole face. I would try to stay away from water based products if possible.
Hey sis! I got a call this morning to do the makeup for a member of our church that use to attend my zoom makeup classes. Scared/nervous is an understatement but I’m told them to let me think about it. Any tips for first time is appreciated
Hi, what’s your go to airbrush machine. Never use one at all and seems like my make up is coming out blotchy. I know too much makeup will do that but as you know in some cases it’s hard to cover things up, this is why I want to try airbrushing just want to give the family my best service!
Hi! You may experience blotches because of lack of oil or too much oiliness. I always keep a setting powder, preferably a loose one. I have multiple, I use the Art of Air and Belloccio. I want to try Luminess to see how the airflow is. I try to keep the nozzles clean and clear after each use.
The only explanation that I can think of is that the skin loses color after embalming which may and intensify the darkness of hair making it look darker. As far as the hair looking gray it may just be dull due to products placed on the skin.
Hey girlfriend! Love your videos! I’m a licensed cosmetologist and plan to extend my services to mortuary. Can you please make a video on what your service menu is like and price points? This would help a lot. Do you charge additional for airbrush as opposed to regular foundation application?

Sending my love and condolences for your loss 💛. You can find a brush similar to the one that is used but the quality may be different. You can ask the funeral home if they have makeup and tools you can use to help complete your sister’s look. You can try to use the regular foundation but if it doesn’t work use the mortuary makeup.
