Fantastic.Looking forward to the next stage! Money spent on experiences is something I’ve never regretted. Did wonder about the plugs thing though… are you running tubeless tyres? If not, surely plugs won’t work?
I was wondering what is happening, glad you are ok. Do this kind of trip while you still can.. I'm not much older then you, but my back and neck became bad in my mid 30's, so can't ride long time.. So, watching people like you is what I can do.
It's all coming together. You'll continue to have a fantastic time. Jeese your knees. You never mentioned before. Sounds horrific being knocked down. Do take care of them. I would think taking frequent breaks whilst riding would be the thing to do. Make sure you have enough warm layers for when you reach the summits of the mountain climbs especially the high ones as it can be pretty cold and windy on top and going down. Also a good rain jacket which can block the wind as well. Hope you dodge all the bad weather you said is forecast. The rain storm in your footage was tropical in it's ferocity. Total white out. You don't want to be caught out in one of those with no cover to shelter under.
Thank you mate. Yeah the knees… they are usually fine, I still climb and do motocross on them so generally it’s just fatigue that makes them slip. Thanks dude, will keep the updates rolling, see where we end up - hopefully not in a storm like that.
