Not true at all, New Danger got a lot of accolades. I can't lie it took a minute for that album to grow on me but it did and it's one of my favorites. True Magic wasn't the greatest but he had 3 to 4 ill joints on that album. You definitely can't front on The Ecstatic, that whole album is fire and he didn't curse on that entire project. I didn't even know Dec. 99th existed until last year or so and that album was kinda ok. But the real reason he said fuck it is because he was tried of putting all this hard work. Into his art and given penny's for it.

Let's not forget, 3000 disappeared to and never released a solo album so what are we really talking about here?

Mos Def 1996-2009 is still 100% better than André 3000 now & before in my opinion. He's in my top 5 & Black On Both > The Love Below but that's just me.
