Seconding Subb a Dubb. That dog never stood a chance. Weird trivia: I toured with a freak-show/circus band. 90% of the venues would play Mr. Bungle before our set ;oP

Hell yeah bro! Every album they have is a different genre, this is their old school thrash genre.

@@anksreacts It's not just that each album is a different genre, each song of each album is at least three different genres too xD

This album is completely insanely good. Probably the best thrash album since the end of the 80's. Yet it is hardly recognized. Spread the word about this album bro!

Hey, man, you have a great sense of rhythm ! 😀Are U a musician too? Where`re you from...? 🙂 You see, by accident or not, you have stumbled upon one of the greatest vocal performers of our time - Mike Patton.🙂 Mr. Bungle is his oldest band, since his/their high school (1985->), but he became a world famous and commercially influential singer when he actually joined a much more famous band called - Faith No More - in 1989.😉 They revolutionized metal music by incorporating genres that were unimaginable to be the part of it at the time: rap, funk, soul, even evergreen and latino sounds ! 🙂😃 It can be said that with this - also accidentally - they gave birth to the so called Nu-metal genre, popular around the 2000`s, with bands such as Korn, Slipknot, System of a Down, Linkin Park, Incubus and many many more... 😉🙂Those bands are all their children, so to speak, and were influenced by FNM in the beginning... But, FNM is actually hard to beat in terms of originality, creativity and musicianship in general...😀Since I understand you`re young in this reaction `thing`, I`m not surprised you haven`t checked them out yet, but luckily, I hope that changes soon. 😃 This band absolutely deserves it, because they are considered one of the greatest alternative-metal bands of the 90`s and beyond and here you can hear all of the vocal abilities and diversity of lead singer Mike Patton who actually has the largest vocal range in pop/rock music - up to 6 octaves !!! He can sing incredibly low and incredibly high ! 😀He can sing like a man, or like a woman, even imitate a child... 😄 I`m telling ya - the guy is phenomenal. In this song of Mr. Bungle, you heard his brutal singing with just a hint of his real capabilities.. I think you`ll be delighted to hear his real voice and his real abilities. 😃😅😉🙂 But just to add this, regarding Mr. Bungle: this song you reacted to is almost 40 years old! 😃It was actually on their first demo album from 1986, but you heard it in the form of same, artistically recreated, demo from - 2020 !😉 It`s a testament to the musical genre they started with: thrash / death metal. 😉But..... What this band is best known for is their amazing mixing of different music genres to the point of true madness! So, they are even wilder than Faith No More in that regard, although the song you heard doesn't prove it to you!😃😉To change that, you need to hear some of the songs from their 3 official albums from 90`s published by Warner Brothers. 😉What is most amazing, beside their radical song arrangements and crazy genre-switching, is their eternal entanglement in circus iconography and comical absurdity even though the lyrics are quite serious and often dark. They all wore clown masks on stage, and Slipknot ripped them off on this one, needless to point out to anyone who knows who and what Mr.Bungle is (a puppet from Pee Wee Herman show, btw😀😉)...So in this band, between 1991 and 1999, you can hear genres like: ska, circus music, polka, thrash and speed metal, funk, rap, a lot of jazz, samba, bossa-nova, reggae, tango, world music, exotica, evergreen, classic rock`n`roll, surf rock, bee bop and motown soul, electronic and ambient music, techno-rave, Arabian and gypsy music, pop, noise and experimental music, cartoon music...😀They used a lot of keyboards in the studio and on stage, lots of samples also... and they even had a horn section, for Gods sake ! 😀Yes, one of the first metal bands, highly unique, that had saxophonists...! So, my man, you HAVE to check out this band and "commercial" Faith No More too ! 😀Those two bands share the same singer, similar energy... and Mike Patton has even more other bands and collaborations... Amazing and busy man! 😀 But let me help ya with this:😎🥸 1. Faith No More: Ashes to Ashes, Easy (Commodores` cover), Epic, A Small Victory, Midlife Crises, Everything`s Ruined, Stripsearch, Evidence, Last Cup of Sorrow, Just a Man, Digging the Grave, What a Day, I Started a Joke (Bee Gee`s cover), Zombie Eaters... 2. Mr. Bungle: Stubb (a Dub), Carousel, Squeeze me Macaroni, Quote Unquote (Travolta), The Girls of Porn, Carry Stress in the Jaw (+The Secret Song/Spy), Desert Search for Techno Allah, Ma Meeshka Mow Skwoz, Merry Go Bye Bye, None of Them Knew They were Robots, The Air Conditioned Nightmare, Retrovertigo, Pink Cigarette, Ars Moriendi, Vanity Fair, Goodbye Sober Day.... Thank you, C yA!

Hey man, first of all thank you, but no I’m not a musician, just a lover of music. I’ve been lucky enough to be around a few musician and it’s just fascinating to hear them discuss music. And again thank for making the suggestions. People have been asking me to check out Mike Patton for his vocals so it’s funny that I stumbled up on him without even realizing it. But now that I know, and the fact that I was already in love with his vocals here I can’t wait to check so more of his stuff out. Thanks for watching! Hope to see you on the next one

@@anksreacts Well, I`m kind of a musician and it`s always a good idea to be around them somewhere...🙂😀 Good to know, Good to know...😉Good for U!😁 It`s no trouble for me at all..😀 I recognized your great potential in dealing with Patton`s music, so all that`s left for me to do is kindly offer you only the basics he's known for, without going into other bands. 😉 So far, only Faith No More (alt.metal, crossover) and Mr.Bungle (experimental metal) are on the list, right, although there are plenty of his other bands, believe it or not!😀I`ll list just a few for U here: Fantomas (avant-garde death-metal), Tomahawk (alt.rock&country), Peeping Tom (pop & experimental hip-hop), Dead Cross (progressive hard-core & metal), Mondo Cane (a large orchestral piece covering old Italian radio hits from the 50s and 60s😃) ... with many side projects and collaborations, such as Lovage (trip-hop album), General Patton vs. The X-ecutioners (hip-hop old school battle album), 2 albums with Norwegian composer Kaada, made of melancholic and sensitive `filmy' ballads ("Romances", "Bacteria Cult"), and his latest collaboration with the old and famous French composer Jean-Claude Vannier, called "Corpse Flower" - an album filled with the atmosphere of classic French cinema, with French ballads, so-called `chansons`, with a tempting modern sound...🙂Ok... Well, remember what you promised.😉 🙂 Go check out those songs from my list above, as soon as you can, and I'll be sure to come!😀😊 (and not just me, I guess...😉😆) Thank U, my man... C ya.😎
