Glad to see activity again. Quite honestly your 1911 videos are more detailed than almost anything else you can find on the internet. I built my first almost entirely by watching your videos. Hope to see more 1911 stuff at some point.

I never hot blued anything. I did some parkering. For bluing i go to Slow Rust method, and for parkerizing I went with a Manganese solution from Brownells or MidwayUSA.

Glad you're back, you had some good videos and I enjoyed them. I also chatted with you once about my Tokarev pistol and you explained to me to try a new spring retainer clip and it fixed the problem. No more was the slide being held back except when it was supposed to. Anyway, glad to see on here again!

Just an F.Y.I. A decade ago when I started to modify my guns, it was your channel that inspired me to do that work. I’m now a gunsmith/riflesmith here in Utah. I have my own shop and custom build rifles & do repair. Thank you for the videos.
Congratulations on expanding into a more of a career in this field. I still haven't gone in that direction. Partly because I am still in Cali. When I move, I will do as you did. And I am glad my videos helped.

Great to hear from you again. One thing, if you are going to use this intro in your videos it might be a bit too long. Maybe cut it down a bit or maybe use faster paced music. yo mosinvirus u ever thought of making a ruger mark .22 handgun? It looks like the receiver is pretty simple to make, just a 1 inch pipe with 3/4 inner
Honestly I haven't even thought of doing anything in .22, even though a Ruger would be an awesome project. CA made it essentially impossible to legally build semi auto handguns at this point.
@@x0j yeah, very much. The most insane thing about the CA roster is that civilians can only get guns "deemed safe", whereas the law enforcement can keep us safe using the "unsafe" handguns. Lol
@@brianthiel1488 RU-vid started removing a bunch of my videos. The whole 2011 build playlist is gone so I am going to be moving over to Rumble. RU-vid also finally officially demonetized my channel... I have backups of all my videos and will be uoading manually to Rumble because the channel sync seems to be super slow. I will most likely be uploading new videos directly to Rumble.
