This device is an electronic repellent to repel mosquitoes and other annoying bugs. The operating principle is very simple, through a transistor it generates a sound of about 4KHz.. sound that will annoy and scare off different bugs, the emitted frequency, in the form of sound, can be adjusted by a 500K trimmer. This circuit work between 3.7v and 5v DC.
► PROS and CONS of this circuit:
🟢 PROS: Easy to build, few components, portable, no pollute, no harm
🔴 CONS: Annoying noise even for people.
Components:
- 1x BC547 (or 2N2222)
- 1x 500KΩ Trimmer
- 1x 10KΩ Resistor
- 1x 2.2KΩ Resistor
- 1x 1nF to 10nF Polyester Capacitor
- 1x 100nF Polyester Capacitor
- 1x Passive Buzzer
- 1x LED (any color)

Is there a reason for the polyester capacitors over electrolytic? Just because the electrolytic are just more common.

Can I remove LED and 2.2k resistor, because the sound is my indicator if the battery is not yet drained.

some people can't hear this noise, not a bad build with the voltage adjust

Hello BRUXXUS! It could be a brilliant idea! circuit to keep annoying people away 🤣🤣🤣 But I think nowadays youtube blocks the video for discrimination.. 😅

Hi, yes of course, it doesn't make miracles but it works! I did some tests and after a few minutes the mosquitoes move away from the place
