Lycophytes and liverworts are cool too. I water my Montezumas so much I get them competing with my moss. They have interesting looking fruiting bodies. This winter I'm planning on studying up on different types of mosses and lycophytes.
That sounds like an interesting project. I've liked moss and found it fascinating since I was a kid. Must be nice to live somewhere where it grows naturally and so easily. Thank you for your comments!
