Hello mam. Really happy that I came across your channel. So good to hear all the information regarding retinoids from an expert. Mam I wanted to ask you if I can use retinoid plz. My skin is hypersensitive and very sensitive to sun as well since my childhood. I have had rosacea on my face for almost 5 years which cured for now as I used 1% ivermectin by galderma. I am 40 years now. Have had cystic acne in past and no acne at this stage but lot of acne scars and acne pits caused on my skin. I do use La Roche niacinamide which my skin has liked. My skin is so sensitive that it doesn't like 99% of the cosmetic products...starts to burn, turns red, gets really uneven to any strong product. Can I use tretinoin mam? I still can’t level up to even twice a wk, because my skin starts peeling.. my skin is happy with once a wk application of tretinoin (micro 0.04) and its okay.. girls never think if u start applying tretinoin more often u will get the best results.. just listen to ur skin😊

Hello Ma’m, I have recently started following you for last 3-4 months and you are perhaps the only Indian skinfluencer I take seriously. I started with cerave retinol(3 months back.. was in UK.. cost effective and most beginner friendly). Went back to India.. brought back tretinoin and ur recommendations from minimalist for acne marks( whole alpha arbutin, niacinamide and vitamin C.. introduced them slowly in my AM routine). For tretinoin, I was literally scared to start.. I started with 1/4 of a pea size first week.. continuing with twice a week. I layer tret with hydrating toners and moisturisers( dot and key, Cosrx, BOJ.. I have been using mostly these) and surprisingly I don’t have any irritation or redness or much peeling ( very slight peeling.. wash away easily) I was having few pimples in November and December.. that also stopped as of now). I have the temptation to go more than twice a week because my skin is taking it so well. BUT I will listen to you and go slow😂. When my pimple marks will fade.. I don’t know.. but tret with cerave, Cosrx, dot and key and minimalist products my skin texture has improved and definitely feels more smoother and plump.. thanks.

I m 25. Hi Rubina , I have been using a retinol serum (0.3% Minimalist serum) for more than a year, i did give a break in between since i had a broken skin barrier and was diagnosed with ulticaria... I have been using it consistently for over 5 months now and my skin takes it perfectly well( i still get rashed with vitamin c though and hence use alpha arbutin instead)... Hi Rubina, can we layer conscious chemist's true bio pigmentation cream with vitamin c serum or with deconstruct's ds serum which contains azelaic acid derivative n succinic acid? Conscious chemist's trubio contains tranexamic acid, kojic acid, azelaic acid and niacinamide.

hi :) my experience with foxtale was not the best as what I experienced was careless formulations ( the horrid fragrance, consistency...). So i have not reviewed it again. also when i have superior retinol products to use from deconstruct and minimalist I tend to not experiment beyond those. in retinols the ultimate goal is to move to tretinoin...so once your skin is conditioned with retinol and you are nearing 30 make the move ... if foxtale is working for you, you should def use it..skincare is very subjective :) much love

Hi Rubina, I started the 1-2-3 method in the middle of last year. Around June. I have healthy skin with no acne. I am religious with sunscreen every morning irrespective of whether I am out or at home. Yes after using retinol for the past 7months, i can see good difference on my face. Only problem what i am having is the pigmentation around my mouth area that is stubborn. If you can please share a detail video for this particular problem. I searched for such video from u and decided to use Paula's choice 10% azelaic acid on that area only. As the product is expensive, i'm still wondering whether it will be right decision to make or not. Please advise.

@@RubinaSkincare yes i used to thread, But after watching ur video I started using Braun facial hair remover across my face. Am i doing anything wrong? My skincare routine: AM- vit C 10%, AA 2%, Niacinamide 5%, moisturiser, spf PM- same except spf. Retinol thrice a week. AHA 18% once a week. Still around the mouth, corner of lips and upper lip are hyperpigmented. Please advise!

@@RubinaSkincare yes its cured now as i stopped using tret...i started with 0.025% with episoft cleanser,cosrx snail mucin,formula rx barrier moisturizer...even i used sandwich method...and mrng sunscreen and i dont go out in sun...i have dry skin and yes dermat suggested the lowest percentange
