This region was only open to foreign tourists for about 7 years, before Covid and then the military coup. Who knows when it will be open again. When it does, I will definitely revisit the Dawei peninsula.

This place where you took this video is called "Pho Pho Kyauk Beach" and the other side of the lagoon can be reached using a road from Yebyu, south of Dawei city....

Is there a view point for hiking to see the whole sand dunes?

Then you ruin it with bikes. Should stay untouched by humans. Nowhere is safe.
